Oh wow, never expected to see a reaction to this. A criminally underrated and underviewed show.

This show was so underrated. Sean Lock, sadly missed. Very funny guy.

The second I heard "Jim'll fix it", I thought "Oh, shit, this is gonna get a lot darker".

Good old Benedict Wong (Wong from the marvel movies!) plays it so dead pan... Sean just plays a grumpy bastard!

One of my favourite programmes! Under rated and not many people have seen it. The wallpaper scene is genius.

I haven't seen it,been waiting to watch along, I found it boring up until the end, I'll watch again, I only really know Sean lock on never mind the buzzcocks or whatever game show it was he was on, haven't really watched TV since about 2015, only football so I'm probably a bit ignorant.

What a treat.. more so for the people that haven't even heard of this..

@@BigyetiTechnologies I’ve vague memories of a couple of minstrels making a cup of tea or breakfast in a kitchen but thinking about it feels more like something that little Britain would do

The series never seemed to broadcast on a regular time or day, if you weren’t vigilant it was easy to miss.

It was like they rolled a dice to decide when to show it.

"swim in your lane". "I only have one arm" "Then only use one leg" That joke is funny enough. But he falls over a false arm...

The joke about a phone number... I was involved in a hot and run. It messed up my nerves in my face and messed up my memories. I paid a lot of money to get an easy number to remembered. My number got shown on the show Spooks.

I've not seen this in years, I didnt realise there were so many jokes that are easy to miss. Like placing a classified ad and using up the spare characters with a random word. Then it seems everyone has in the newspaper. But stick with it, if anything for the table tennis episode.

I know I been here earlier but I had to cut it short. I hope you stick with it. The random people we see will be in future episodes. It becomes more of a surreal version of life in a tower block of flats with Vince and Eroll being your guide into it the world. The normal ones... I think the one of the reasons it failed other than the poor marketing was that people watched this episode without knowing about Sean Locks dry sarcastic humour.

Great series Alan, If I might, I suggest the brilliant scottish sitcom Two Doors Down is very very worth watching. In addition Early Doors is a must and I don't think anyone's reacted to either of them yet 🙂👍

A cult classic. Peak Sean Locke. It was a shame that scheduling meant that this gem got a tiny audience. IIRC it was shown on Tuesdays at 10:40 after _Newsnight_ Although not six Tuesday's in a row, some weeks would get missed because of the snooker, or a by election or god know's what.

I like sean locke but with what i saw it was hard work & cringe its not talked about or repeated for a reason.

Lots of dry dark sarcastic wit. This show is full of little tiny joke... His flatmate could have been a lawyer but Sean didn't approve of his mode of transport *walks out on his balcony and yells at a biker to see if he falls off... The show is full of these tiny jokes but he sets them up in such a way. Normally in a sitcom you get a lot of tiny set ups for a big punchline. Those either hit or miss. Here we get a 2 or 3 big set ups and small punchlines... That takes a lot of balls to do that in a sitcom. The set ups have to step over the line of absurd and that's when the small punchline works. Father Ted and The IT Crowed do this all the time.

what is the point of showing it with all those labels over the screen I'm not going to watch it simple as that

I can't seem to win for losing. Every other channel that has issues with blocks on copyrighted stuff does it so I figure why not. I've got plenty of other stuff with nothing over the screen.
