“She’s a dwarffff” “She ain’t here already Is she?” 😂

A lot of kids born in th 80's probably had a nan quite similar if not so overt. The second world war made people tough, especially in London. Nan is soft at heart but she had to put a tough front on to lead the family in many ways.

A lot of our british nans are like that character. Not All , but most I have met. legends!😅

Catherine Tate was on a chat show and Tom Cruise was also a guest. She told how she came up with the main character and did it live. Tom Cruise was doubled up laughing.

"I'm pleased you're not a theatrical" went under the radar there 😂 English humour I suppose.

Catherine is such a genius!! So glad you find her funny!

Its sad but the truth is this type of nan is a rare and dying breed, as a kid from the 60s living in east and north london there loads of these types of nans and mums, nan tate brings back so many fond memories of me growinng up in the 60s 70s & 80s ❤️❤️

I watched " Nan Taylor"( The Catherine Tate show) live at Sheffield City Hall, England. Nan taylor walked around the crowd,it was so funny 🤣😅🤣😂 she also did her character Bernie the sex crazed Irish Nurse.the posh family is anothe great Performance.

"She ain't Welsh is she?" Could be a reference to Gavin and Stacey.

You should watch Catherine Tate on 8 out of 10 cats. Its so funny. PLUS give Chris Ramsey a look. His live act is great, IT'S LIKE LIVING WITH THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL- AIR is fantastic . Every man can relate too IT. VERY VERY FUNNY.

at the end of the clip there was a thumbnail for nan being visited by her sister, also there is a xmas special where her daughter visits.

If I may make a suggestion look up the comedian Steve Hughes I think you might enjoy his stuff. You might want to try Steve Hughes - "Cynical" or "Talks about gays" as a starter... and if she's not too busy, bring the Queen along for the ride. 😁
