Quick facts for you, dear beginner :P -the band is German -it was profesionally shot during a real concert in France (later released as a full show Rammstein: Paris) -yes, the keyboard player (Flake) is walking on a treadmill -no, the lightnings (on the keyboard) are done in post-production - the rest is real tho (fire, flare gun and fireworks...) -the lead singer (Till) and the rest bandmembers are not covered in blood, but in some fire deterrent to keep them safe from all those fire effects (but it also adds to the overal on-stage visual appearance) An advice for next Rammstein reactions - always use EN subtitles. Their songs are usually very deep, metaphoric or double meaning, and it adds so much value to their songs... But their official YT videos usually doesnt offer EN translation. So search for "Educated Marine" - he has a lot of Rammstein videos with built-in subtitles on his channel :)

Its not :) Till goes to the backstage before the songs starts, he puts his "Metzgermeister" dress, closes his eyes and staff member spill some red stuff all over him :) just recently Ive seen a behind-the-scenes video of the process, it looked cool...

Yes it is German. For the correct pronounciation of "Rammstein" take a look to Rammlied (live in Madison Square Garden = awesome!). And, caused by, the mostly deeper meanings of Rammstein Songs/lyrics. You should have some kind of translation (CC with autotranslation works pretty well on Rammstein or Videos with allready translated Subtitles) on Hand. I highly recommend: -Engel / Live in Madison Square -Sonne / Official Video -Radio / Official Video -Deutschland / Official Video -Angst / Official Video -Links 2,3,4 / Live at Bråvalla Festival 2016 And so on... So the song is in German, they are well known for pyrotechnics. They are all trained in pyrotechnics. The song is a take on German wedding vows. The gist of the lyrics is You have me (du hast mich) and she asks him, will you love me forever, she says yes, he says no, She asks, will you be faithful, she says yes, he says not…. Is a German metal band with a compilation of the live concert in Paris. Rammstein's videos are epic. We recommend the songs "Zeit" and "Adieu", they are no longer music videos, but movies with a lot of effort and soulful lyrics with a metal character, really recommendable.😉👍Rammstein have long intros and outros in their videos, so always wait until it really says the end🤣

The lyrics are a play on the German language Du hast = you have Du hasst = you hate Both are pronounced the same way and the lyrics are derived from German wedding vows.

He gets bored during the show and originally wanted to be inside a giant hamster ball and roll around on stage while playing the keyboards but the wires wouldn’t allow him to so they compromised and he got a treadmill. The band is covered in a flame retardant gel and are all licensed pyrotechnics. All their lyrics are in German and they very rarely tour the US due to the Pyro laws.

the video was made from live performances in paris with a french publicum singing in german. the lighnings are post produktion. they have tried it in real but it was a failure. maybe in 10 years the tech is at a level that they can do it. the pyro effects are real. till (the singer) is a certified pyro technican. and it doesnt matter what song you choose next. live or studio, all will blow your mind. greetings

If you decide to check out more videos from Rammstein, I recommend turning on auto-generated translated subtitles when available or look for videos where fans added them/have the lyrics pulled up. Especially on videos like Deutschland, Zeit, Angst (as examples), understanding the lyrics with the corresponding visuals (all VERY good btw, I highly recommend all three songs. Deutschland is a longer one with a little more than 9 minutes that is about the troubled relationship we have with being german and our german history while depicting parts of it) will add a lot to the experience. Rammstein always has a message/story behind their songs and it's definitely worth it to understand that part of it. Greetings from Germany!

This is "Du Hast" (You have) from the german band Rammstein. Rammstein, the singer Till Lindemann, plays with the words. it can mean you have or you hate. In german "Du hast" (you have) or "Du hasst" ( you hate). This video is recorded by around 70 cameras.I think i read 73 cameras live in Paris. This Live-Concert is very good. The song "Mutter" from Live in Paris is very good too. When you will see a movie from Rammstein, look their official videos from "Deutschland" or "Adieu". Maybe you see "Zeit", a hard vocal video. Here you must translate or look at the subtitles. Maybe we see more Rammstein video reactions! ;-)

The video is part of a live recording of a whole concert in Paris. They used a lot of cameras during recording. The only post production part in this video is the lightning from the keyboard - and of course some slow motion shots. The German lyrics are quite simple but still tricky: The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German. But it sounds (intentionally) the same as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Later in the song, the first three words are extended to a full sentence: "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." (You asked me and I did not answer.) And then, to show what he was asked, the chorus is a wedding vow: "Willst Du bis der Tod euch scheidet treu ihr sein für alle Tage?" (Do you want to be faithful to her for all days until death do us part?) This is answered first by a kind of female voice "Ja" (yes) and afterwards by Till's harsh voice "Nein!" (No!). These - plus a slightly obscene word play on the wedding vow, that I will not explain here - are the whole lyrics (repeated a few times).

Rammstein = Rohm-shtine, in German any time an e is followed by an i it is pronounced as ī; any time an s is followed by a t it is pronounced as sht! Du hast = you have, people often get it confused with you hate which is actually du hasst! Once you go Rammstein, there's no turning back!!! Any song is great, but do the live video for reactions!!
