I am from post-Soviet country and while we have our sandwiches, it's not usually that kind that I see Americans have it. Our sandwiches are usually open and we rarely use square white sandwich bread (we have it here but it relatively new product and it's quite expensive in comparison to other types of bread). They have American style sandwiches in Korea but they also have so many native dishes/snacks that are great substitute for American sandwiches that sandwiches are not THAT common. Edit: don't let Namjoon into the kitchen and to the driver's seat, lol. He actually can cook some dishes if he strictly follows the recipe. And if he and his kitchen will survive prepping ingredients phase. Man is clumsy af. It's not that he didn't try to cook. The problem is that he did and not once and WE ALL saw what happened. Edit2: I am waiting for you to react to the second part and perilla leaf debates.

@@Jurnalist_ im pretty sure perilla leaf is a leaf kinda like lettuce that koreans use as a wrap to eat. It has to be peeled apart with chopsticks in order to eat. Theres a popular debate going on in korea rn where ppl are asking whether you would let your friend peel your partners perilla leaf. Kinda like the twitter debate here in the states where ppl are asking, would you let your best friend fix your significant others plate at a bbq? 😭 its a silly question but a lot of ppl think one thing could lead to another and they might end up hitting it off, leaving ur relationship in the dust.

Yep bread isn't a staple for them because wheat isn't a huge crop in Korea the way it is in the US. They do have wheat but they used it for noodles and not bread like a lot of the West. They do have some bread but mostly if you see them talk about "bread" it's usually pastries or specialty bakery breads. They have a few sandwiches like their well know breakfast sandwich but they aren't really a staple like in the US with our pb&j, grilled cheese, rubens etc.

I like they have different points of view but they get along together. Thanks for sharing.

Koreans don't traditionally eat bread, they just eat rice, even for breakfast (where I'm from breakfast = bread) some ppl even get stomach issues from eating bread cuz they're not used to it nowadays ppl eat more bread and pastries, but it's more associated with a western lifestyle, they sell it in cafés, etc, but it's not typically Korean at all, it's a foreign import

I would consider myself to be an extroverted introvert. 🤣🤣🤣 The four categories are introversion/extraversion, sensing/intuition, thinking/feeling, judging/perceiving and you trnd to lean toward one or the other. It's pretty interesting and you can find ones like are you like Dumbledore, Yoda, Han, or Gandalf. 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Once you learn more about them RM is notoriously clumsy and NOT a good cook. LOL I was surprised you got to this one. I usually recommend Run BTS episodes in order! but I think you might appreciate some of the newest ones a lot (ep 33 is my all time favorite though). THe Flying Yoga and the one they are KZreadrs XD I think you'll get to know them (this one especially, they have to make a "livestream" for the other 6 and if you watch you have to pause A LOT to be able to read all the comments/roasts XD) I'll get to this tonight! :D You are on the right path, once you love them all, their music could be them playing the harmonica (yes, a Run BTS episode xD) and still say it's a bop, because it is ok? XD Beautiful, talented people :_)

6:00 I am from Europe and I am the only one in my family who a few times a year maybe buys sanwich bread if its discounted. It is just way more pricier than normal bread or even bread buns which we use for our sanwiches, plus it heavly tastes of the added conservatives that make it last longer. So it is basically way more expensive and it tastes like chemicals. I have no idea why it isnt popular in South Korean, but in Europe the simple reason is: bread is cheaper, freesher, more choices, and tastier

The one who probably would buy the most expensive stuff to cook would be Jin, Jungkook and Suga. 😆 Both Suga and Jin's older brothers own restaurants. Suga's brother is an actual chef.

Totally unrelated to this video, but I checked out Plastic Pounds and it's a cool joint. I didn't quite feel it the first time (nothing new with me) so I gave it my usual 2nd listen and I definitely got into it more. I think by the 3rd/4th listen I'll be all the way in. It usually takes me a few tries before most songs hit me. I I must say I do enjoy your rapping tone though. It suits you well. Also ole boy with the grey hat is nice with it too. (Not to be rude and pry so ignore me if you don't feel comfortable answering, but do you have parents from the Caribbean or grew up there or have close friends there? You just say some stuff sometimes that sound like things we say a lot over here on my little island so it made me wonder)

I have been listening to Uk based music earnestly since 2014/15 and I love slang and language. So I just picked it up from the music and then put it in my music too since it’s how I would speak anyway. Now living in the Uk it’s just getting even more reinforced. Now though I have a bunch of Scottish slang I use too. 😂 This Korean culture dive keeps going I’ll be using that too. 💜

I agree on "evrything is based on emotions" but i geniunly think that there a diferance betwin controling ur emotions to take a choice that could go against those same emotions and acting imediatly on the emotions you have that's why i think there is thinking and feeling type of poeple (it may be more complex than juste 2 type but let's not start a debat lol) Also i belive on the idea that poeple feel emotions at diferent intansity so poeple who are less afected by they own emotions (good or bad) may be more likly to be the thinking type will in the oposit scénario poeple who are more affected by theire emotions are more likly to be the feeling type Well it's the way i see it at least i may be wrong but if i am it will be hard to change my mind on this topic ngl

It’s all subjective end of the day no mind changes needed. I agree the level of intensity can vary person to person. But I still think everyone is running off emotion but we’ve dressed that up so much that it’s either a weakness or lack of control or you have become better than your emotions and are now rational. Apparently MBTI is something Koreans use a lot and believe in. They also look into which year you are born ( asian astrology ) and blood type. They are a bit superstitious in that regard. Perhaps old beliefs?. I know they do this for fun and a way to discuss and let us know that they have different personalities. But for us in the West, we can be a bit confused why they do this kind of stuff. By the way. Sandwich bread is something very American or something used in English speaking countries. In my country we mostly eat rye bread and not white wheat sandwich bread. And in Asian countries they don't really eat bread at all.

lmao eating bread too much where i'm from is considered unhealthy ahahah since we survive on rice. with westernisation, bread gained prominence however rice remains the staple of most asian countries.

Yeah, cooking isn't my forte either. I'm not clumsy like Namjoon, but my self-made meals are not exactly tasty. 'cause I don't have any passion for it, either cooking or eating. I would rather do anything else, so I dont learn about it, have no knowledge how ingredients work. So I mostly eat the german version of a sandwich. 😄😄💜💜

I dunno about your rational vs emotional commentary. I'm hyper rational and my initial feelings rarely lead to my actual decision/ final opinion. Like, I may feel some type of way. And I can recognize that's my emotional response. But then if the facts/logic don't support it, I will absolutely go against my own emotions or feelings about that particular issue. I'm constantly discounting how my heart feels initially to ensure my brain and logic prevail. And after I determine what's logical, my feelings then typically change to align with that. But you've never been more correct about anything in your life: baking = measure everything. Cooking = free spirit that stuff

I think I am a mix between all of them but the ones I have noticed I am most like a few of the members: -Jin -Introvert, but I am also blunt and honest, but I go with the flow in life -Yoongi-introvert, honest, more of a listener and observer, but I share when I feel comfortable, or I am interested... -Hobi-I am a great listener -Jungkook-introvert, when I really into something I go all in, I am an observer Off the top of my head this is how I am similar. However, the more I get to know the members I realized I at least have one thing in common with them...

Yeah…It’s best that Joon doesn’t cook. I typically would agree that everyone should cook bc it’s a life skill and I believe that’s why Joonie does try to cook but it is really not his strength. What convinced me was during their show In The Soop, I couldn’t believe someone could struggle sooo much to make a cup-of-noodles. He’s called the God of Destruction for a reason. But he always tries to help where he can (he usually does a lot of cleaning). He’s our brilliant, kind, clumsy, leader😅 🤷🏾‍♀️

When I look at your channel and video's etc there are a limited number of video's you have posted, no playlists or recent video's that have any thing to do with BTS, WHAT GIVES??

I think he's going about it the right way. Building a picture and gaining a context within which to understand BTS as a social phenomenon and a group . If he were to just jump in, he might not like what he sees or misunderstand. The fact that he takes the time to look into BTS, suggests he takes it seriously. I applaud that. He might not become ARMY but he might appreciate BTS more especially what they stand for and why you can't pigeonhole BTS.

I’m at the latter part of your comment though. 😂😂 I’m at recruitment stage for the army right now. It’s a big responsibility to be army and with a growing channel(platform) and my music going full army without taking that into consideration would be a big mistake. Can’t go into the army faking it. You all are not playing.
