Frank, you need to start learning from Mike and say "THANK YOU" when someone agrees to sell something to you. They're leaving profit on the item for your benefit, the least you can do is say thanks.

@@christopherx7035 if you watch American pickers frequently, you'll notice that Frank does not say thank you after negotiating deals. Mike does nearly every time. I don't think the editors are routinely editing out Frank's "thank you". It's just the difference between these two men... Frank rarely shows appreciation for the deals he's given, while Mike is much more demonstrative and appreciative about what he's getting.

If you think Frank only buys $30 toy trucks and believe he must frequently thank sellers, as we see with Mike literally every episode or almost every purchase, then you must have only seen maybe 2 or 3 episodes tops? Frank is not a "thank you" type picker, that's just his personality and negotiation type. He mostly just says "alright" or something similar after concluding a deal. And no, lol, they're not editing out his thank you. I'm only repeating it because I don't think you're really understanding what I'm saying. Also, if you think that my second comment was a carbon copy of the first, then that confirms you didn't really read either comment particularly attentively.

Without it, you would feel like a lesser individual, having not "won" a perceived duel in which there is a winner and a loser. It does say quite a bit about the, ahem, small mindedness of an individual who feels buoyed by making a "clever" KZread comment and thinking he has "won" something. That chopper without the paperwork was only a girder frontend. 300. Bucks is a good number for that. When he said 55. I thought he was being righteous cause he knew they were there to spend some money . Only wanting 55. Dollars. When Frank got that cleared out I thought he'd crock right there... I almost did!!! Must have been in that garage with a truck running or something....

The whole thing about the bike not having a title must differ by state. Where I’m from any vehicle over a certain age (30 years I think) does not need a title. And most vehicles before 1980 never even had a title at least in my state and therefore still do not require one.

I agree with you that is a fairly reasonable but Guys like these are going to try to make the most money they can so if they can get it at the lowest price possible they will do it and I always like to negotiate with people to myself and try to get a little cheaper so I don’t blame Frank for that but in the end 1500 is not a bad price for that scooter Especially if the engine is not seized
