If that motor is correct and has matching belly #'s, and no welds then it's worth $10-15K as a core, and 25K professionally rebuilt. It would be a plus if it still had open rockers. Let me guess: they'd add another $300 bucks if it was a '36. Poor old guy cornholed hisself.

@@pikapikacool my comment still stands. No collector on the level of which they visit let's their 'precious' items go for a third off market value. It's a show about riping people off. @@JA-yz8eq yes i agree they always buy at low prices, but most of people in this show is a hoarder of some kind, they collect things for many years and they only sell after they ran out of room, got old, or even when they died, their kids who's trying to sell them..so for most of them it's better to sell than hold it till they die, it's easy money, in cash too.. if they were young they might want to keep it, or sell it at an auction, ebay, etc..

You're also ignoring the basic fact that people who sell to dealers are motivated sellers. They have their reasons for taking a lower price. Maybe the need quick money, or need space, or have just decided they're ready to move on. You really should apologise to everyone that had to see your comment.
