Yes, she plays the piano. And other instruments. And she writes almost all her own songs. And is an engineering student. Sings in multiple languages. And is still just 23. She also has a duet/video with John Legend - Minefields. Sang Arabic on a song with Kelly Clarkson. Born in Morocco but raised in Canada since a baby. A very large, and still emerging, rabbit hole.

She has an entire concert where she plays the piano while singing (Live in Abu Dhabi). Also similar to this "Stripped" version are her songs "Bad Dreams" and "How It All Works Out" (both "Stripped" versions) - in fact I like those two more than this one. Hopefully you'll check out some more!

Her training is in classical piano, not singing. I think she has had some fiddle lessons, and does a bit of guitar and percussion. She has been behind a keyboard for one or two songs in concerts, but mostly just focuses on singing when live. There are a few audience cams from her recent concert in Kuala Lumpur that aren’t bad. She melismas to the max on “Desert Rose” and “I’m Blue” and “Anybody Else” and “I Know” are good.

One of the wildest bassists out there is Charles Berthoud. Check his YT channel. Also, Geddy Lee of Rush, one example being their song YYZ (live in Rio) You know you're doing good when the crowd sings along to an instrumental.
