I would suggest losing the kool looking range hood for more storage or microwave placement. The saying is, " there's beauty in function ".

I will politely disagree. We have a class c and I try to cook outside even in cold weather because food smells stay inside so much. I would give up carting more stuff for a vent any day.

@@winebox a hood vent is important, but it doesn't need to take up all of that space. It's styled like it's in the show kitchen of a renovation on a TV show, instead of in an RV where space is critical.

Many homes have the hood built into the bottom of a cabinet and the vent pipe goes through the middle. This would help add more storage to this motorhome. And the look is not as important......

This is actually a Class A that would want to own. I like the power plant and the smaller length. More than enough power on the road and just small enough to fit into most sites. The styling makes it unique. Definitely not big and boxy (clunky?) like other Class A motorhomes. Good work, Coachman. I just hope it will be available in Canada.

Really beautiful motor home. I’d customize it for myself a bit (1) remove the two extra seats under the TV and install a desk /work table with storage drawers beneath (2) drop down to a full size bed and add a large built in closet with cabinets in the bedroom (3) reconfigure the bathroom so the sink doesn’t block the shower. Not sure if this model has a garage, but would be interested to see the exterior storage. Otherwise, I really like it.

It's nice seeing a small unit with features. Just like cars, the smaller you get, it becomes more of a budget minded product. We love smaller vehicles that have the luxury features of the full size products and nobody makes products like that.

Suggestions: Skip the fancy range hood in favor of more cabinet space. Put the microwave up there and a cabinet below where the microwave is. Make the folding bed a recliner bed when the slide is in. Makes it usable for brief stays or adds an extra reading area. (I'm small and could sleep on the flat end with the slide in at rest stops or parking lots while traveling.)🦄You could name this "Unicorn."

Good sized Class A. I agree a diesel could be beneficial. The stove exhaust looks nice but there is wasted storage space around; function over design is better in my estimation. The materials may have a euro style etc but that is the 5%. Other than that it still screams american. Those LED strips are showing up in all the US Rvs. The outside of this makes you think you will walk in and it will be really actually euro and then you sigh and go….nope

With both cab seats mounted on swivels so they can be used as arm chairs in the evening do you really need two more recliners in the back as well? To me this shows an area where the American mind set is still in charge, look at how the European motorhomes are using the space to better effect.

As a UK Class A motorhomer - This is something that I would like to see in US Hire fleets to tempt more Europeans who are nervous of your big rigs to take road trip vacations in The US. I also agree with the comments below that European style "Garage" underbed storage accessible from the outside would be more practical than the slide out. Personally I don't like the transverse strip lights, they look more at home in an office. keep the zoning panels but starlight LEDS would be the dog's doodahs. Oh and the 8-10mpg is rather obscene . Us Europeans like to get 26-30mpg in diesel form (have you seen the price of our fuel?? 😱)

This is the first class A I've seen that I'd actually want to own. Really reminds me of the was the Leisure Unity made a complete transformation of the class B+/C segment. This feels bigger than it is, and the multifunction front space is great. Unfortunately, I'm sure it'll be way outside my price range, but if it wasn't, I'd consider it for full time living. If I could change one thing, I'd add washer/dryer prep, and maybe see if you could squeeze a workstation area somewhere. I really liked the design of the Lance 2465 with the owner's suite, but in this case the bathroom takes up part of the owner's suite so I'm not sure that could be done here without stretching the chassis.

Thanks for the the flat/euro cabinets and no outdated valances or grandma cabinets with dozens of handles, carved wood and gaudy wall sconces/light fixtures. Please don't cheap out on the materials and furniture. The rims are OK, give us some options. Reconfigure that doggie window, round the corners or ditch it. If you could design this with configurations that allow end user mods it could be an interesting way to go… example: many of us watch Tv on our iPads, just need mounts (let customers configure the tv or drop it). Love the walk around bed but hate the slide out. Can you create a twin bed layout or Murphy bed and leave out the slide? Look at what Leisure Travel has done in their B+ designs - very innovative.

Watch a lot of US reviews, first time I’ve seen one I would actually want. Our new German Cathargo has incredible lighting and curved cupboards and lockers, so modern and contemporary. A lot of the US ones look like my granny’s cabinetry if that makes sense. Can see a lot of customers loving this.

Get rid of the range hood and put the microwave there. The two belted seats need to go and put more cabinets there.

Finally someone is catching up and getting why the european market is light years ahead , Its been a long time coming. We need to build motorhomes that have style and function and have the quality to back it up. Lets be real people want there moneys worth when investing there lifes savings on a home on wheels. As a tour manager for rock bands i have travelled on almost every brand of motor homes and tour buses over the last 30 years. i was appalled how the quality of the product that was used hinges, brackets, wood joinery etc. I remember the first time i walked into a Country coach and was so blown away how beautiful the attention to detail was. Manufactures did not see the Sprinter custom van market potential and now its booming and now everyone even Tiffin who is great is taking notice. My 2 cents worth.

You need to add drawers in one of the hanging storage. Storage space over the driver and pilot should have doors.

Outstanding! Would like to offer ONE suggestion, and that's for a model that would have the bedroom with an oversize single/full mattress and a work desk with file cabinet/drawers. Don't need that massive king mattress.

A slide out extension on the lagoon table would be great to make it longer, so more than 2 people can use the table since you already have it designed for four seating.

Personally I like this - I'm not looking at class A's but this wouldn't be bad. I wish it had a diesel option (for reliability/economy and the general ease a diesel has with towing/hauling) and the range hood may look cool but it's a waste of potential storage space. Even keeping the hood and wrapping a cabinet around it would be an improvement.

Finally a motorhome that looks less like something from the 70’s!!! Cute hood but waste of space. Using a microwave vented to the outside would be more efficient. Kitchen cabinets need adjustable shelving and so do the storage ones. We didn’t see enough of the coach itself to make more comments but the proto looks nice.

Finally something practical in North America. Good job! For most people out there, dragging that BUS, storing and fueling it has been nightmare. This, what i see is perfect. Get rid of the oven hood. To resemble European choices, add a drop down bed, small oven, sleeping for mam and dad with three kids.....then i will put a deposit for one. Similar European choices actually do have five berth and 'garage' Overall, splendid.

THIS is what I want to see more of in the mass produced US RV market, innovation and originality that you see in the Euro/Asian market(s). I just don't get why other manufactures keep insisting on using LP when induction cooktops and electric fridge/ heating is available. Something like this would be great for my mrs and I, especially for state/national parks and harvest host stays.

The pantry should have a pull out. The tv above the best seating? That is where I would like to sit, not on the sofa. But you can’t see the tv in the best seats. Should have an option in the bedroom for king, queen or twin beds. And I agree about the kitchen vent hood. Storage is so valuable and bending to get a hot casserole dish out of the low microwave is not safe. Think about us older rvers please.

  • @jacerock

I don’t think the hood vent is worth the sacrifice of storage space. Put the convection/micro there and have more storage. Diesel should be an option. I don’t like the folding bed aspect. For a compact unit I want to be able to use it parked without having to put the slide out. Overall, I hope there’s some competition in this market to see how others can compare!

Coachmen needs to use a revised Freightliner MC Custom Chassis with the Cummins front end diesel, shorter and lighter frame, independent front suspension, all disc brakes with VRide, digital dash etc. That is what the do in Europe folks, not gasoline.
