cherries are expensive at the moment, that's normal, but the price will decrease in a month..

I think Cherries are at the beginning of the season so yes, that price is right. The price will go down in few weeks. In England we have not got them yet, if we do a handful will be 7 pounds. A handful I mean the quarter of a kilos. We can never ever buy half a kilos.

yes it's normal during this period, but it will drop a little. cherries are among the most expensive fruits in Morocco

The Darija word for plastic bag is "Mika". If you find that hard to remember, use "Plastica" instead. This word is obviously derived from "plastic" and means the same thing, a plastic bag. We also refer to the other common (cloth-like) non-plastic bag in Darija as "sac". For a paper bag, we use "Sachiya," derived from the French word "sachet." The very large bag, usually used for flour, rice, and similar items, is called "Khencha" (with "Kh" pronounced like the Spanish "J"). A packet is referred to as "Bakiya" in Darija.

Wonderful, 1 to 10 in Darija by Camryn was so perfect. She's as beautiful as the bee that was attracted by the too sweet honey oat, she should be friend with bees and have some training to hold them by hand. When you want to ask for a bag say: "Mika 3afak" : "a bag please" for cherries say: "7ab lemlook" literraly translated means "kings grain".

Very nice video! I would love to get some nectarines and apricots! They look yummy! All the fruits and vegetables actually look good. In Abidjan where we live at the moment all fruits and vegetables that are imported are way too expensive. For example, cherries can reach $50/kg and I'm not exagerating. Strawberries, nectarines, apricots, grapes are also ridiculously expensive. Because imported. On the other hand, bananas, avocados, mangos, ananas and other local fruits are very cheap.

The word for cherries is hob Al molook (literally, what the king loves). But of course Moroccans speak very fast so you will hear it as “hoblmlouk” or “hobmlouk” all combined as one word. Darija word for lettuce is Al khoss (it’s the same “o” sound that’s in push)

Blessed be God, Camren is smart, great in her mentality, and compassionate. This instinct does not gain her much. May God protect you.
