They really need to have more outfits available for these custom dolls. They should just let you choose any of the available outfit sets.

@idreamofjonny I haven't bite the bullet and bought an AG doll. I really don't have room and the price. I do have two Wellie Wishers. Just got an Emerson NRFB box at a thrift shop. I mainly collect fashion dolls.

On the CYO Site I have trouble having telling the difference between the face molds because of how they labeled them Heart,tear drop ext, because I know it as the dolls names face molds.

@@tinmanlover1994 they don’t have any of their closed mouth boy face molds. But you could make a boy or girl out of any face mold that’s open or closed mouth, like nothing about the closed mouth makes it more boy than the open mouth if that makes sense

When I ordered my CYO I also gave them heterochromia with a focus on pinwheel vs decal! I'm surprised I haven't heard many other people talk about that, it drives me crazy seeing the ones with 1 decal and 1 pinwheel. Amazing video! This will be a great resource for anyone looking to make a CYO doll!

Jonathan, when you showed your boy CYO with regular underwear, I had my son bring my boy CYO to me, thinking how did I not notice his underwear when I changed his clothes. My boy CTO has gray briefs. Yes, you should call them and ask for the briefs.

​@@AGLegofan interesting. Maybe sometimes they assume what gender the doll is supposed to be? Weird, they should just let you choose on the generator as part of the outfit you want!

This was a wonderful video! I loved watching every detail! I have ordered four Design Your Own AG Dolls. Very disappointed with two of them because: 1 the skin tone didn’t look like the generator, and 2 one had hair that was a total mess (the back was cut and fried and the hair felt like strips of plastic! This was light blonde, long, straight hair. They told me that was typical for that hair. They would not offer any return or correction without an additional hospital fee.) But I love the other two and am so tempted to design more. I’m hoping they’ll add more features - molds, hair styles, and esp. clothes. One of the CYO outfits came with the wonderful grey boxers you mentioned. I definitely would buy more of them if they were offered!

I've gone onto the CYO doll Generator and played around on my phone for hours and even creating former GOTYs and put videos up on my channel

He turned out absolutely adorable! The different colored eyes look so good on his complexion. I love relaxin to the max outfit. It really is the best outfit for pieces. The others arent great for mix and matching at all.

He's very cute and I am inspired. Next doll will be a CYO and a mini-me. It's frustrating that they don't have the old short hair, though. My dad was in the military and he made me cut my hair short until he died in 1973. Closest hair is the short, curly girl's hair like I had in high school. Have fun Jonathan!

Thank you! I do wish they'd bring the pixie cut back to the CYO line - I really love it and want to use it. The side part cut wig can be brushed down in front, so it can be kinda close potentially!

When I was 9 almost 10 years old I had super long Brown hair, with blue eyes with glasses and earring's. I wish AG could Place a Feeding tube,Port o catch and add Scars to their dolls then I'd have A Real Just Like You/Truly Me doll

There's an Etsy shop that can get you most of that. I can't remember the name but if you search American girl and feeding tube that will help.

So adorable!! One day I will order a CYO! I want to get a lightest skin tone sanoli mold with freckles and long red curly hair! Im not really sure how I want to do my mini me! Its definitely not going to be a CYO since its going to need face piercing, and I change hair color and length often! So I dont think ill be gluing the wigs down, not sure what mold I want yet, ill probably gonna have to learn to paint on freckles

I got my ears pierced at Walmart at 16. The gun jammed on my ear. For over a half an hour they called 6 people over to try and unjam it. I was sitting there quietly because it was attracting a crowd. Some called an EMT to release it in the ambulance. They didn't charge me and gave me $20 giftcard. I was so embarrassed because as a teenager we want attention if we are in charge of creating it. But embarrassed when it just happens
