Love the reaction and love the support brother. If you listen right at the end of the game, the song playing is Nkalakatha by Mandoza. It has honestly become a staple of SA rugby at this point, and hearing them play it in France feels so good. He unfortunately passed away in 2016, so its touching to hear it being played still, especially after major victories on the world stage.

You can kick forward at any time, but you can only pass the ball backwards. The first try scored by SA during the 2019 Final had a similar play of a fwd kick to an open player, then a pass back and dash to the try.

Canan Moodie is very much still in the Squad, but Springbok don't want to gamble on him yet in these crucial stages and rely rather on experience.

Hopefully you can watch the final live this weekend man. Its just gonna be something else🔥🔥

You can kick the ball forward to avoid a tackle, create space and chase it, and only your teammates that are behind the kicker can chase the ball and try to score. Any teammate infront of you cannot chase the ball, and have to fall behind you. Hope that helps

Watch some south african school boy rugby as well it all starts there. In out winter season you can even go to any high school on a saturday and watch their rugby. The 1st teams always play the last game. Keep up with the GEES ( afrikaans for good spirit), love to see it.

Watch the New Zealand All Blacks vs Ireland which was played the day before. Equally a great game for the ages. I'm an All Blacks fan but have admiration for the Springboks. Our rugby history playing together runs extremely deep.

We knew that kick as a Grubber kick or Grabba kick. You can kick anywhere you want but there are rules thereafter, no one of your own team can be in front of you, if they are you as kicker can place them on side by running in front of them. There are so many rules, but we grew up with rugby, rugby and braai are almost a religion. So it feels like instinct just to know the game! Welcome in South Africa!

Wish you could watch the whole game. 3min highlights are a terrible representation of the game. It was impact after impact, a real clash. I hope World Rugby gives us more next time but TV rights makes it difficult. 2031 Rugby World Cup will be held in the USA. There is enough time to get the Eagles to play proper rugby and enough time for commentators not to call a touchdown when they score a try.
