How do you know which is dominant and recessive?

I’m still confuse with this but when I do get a pup , I wanna make sure and ask you what would be a best male or females to breed with to get a better color for the puppies .

Not listed in the Ped. You must have a working knowledge of your bloodline and of canine genetics to know what is dominant and what is recessive

There are basic general lists floating around in the internet. However, It is not as simple as that. You must also look at the pedigree and also as you do genetic testing look at COI.

I'm guessing but you need experience to see these things in a pup. My girlfriend had a dog and I didn't start noticing various traits until the dog was around a year. She paid $1500 for a female. This is good to know. I'm thinking about getting a dog myself. I know some of the traits I want in a dog. I need to find a breeder that have dogs like this. Lastly I need to know how much the dog will cost. I'm not a breeder and I may stud a Male out for the right price. I would only breed my female with her breeders program.
