Boy, I'll say. If I had the chance to see pics of myself at 55 when I was 16, I wouldn't have made it to 17. I would have died from the fright. 😜 He's a beautiful soul. His beauty shines through, regardless of what changes time created.

He went thru some tough times but he seems to have made a come back. Good for him.

Always very respectful. Lost art today. Happy he got his life back.

Leif is extremely likeable. This is true to this day. As you know, drugs has had such a negative effect on his success and well-being. This really pains me. I wish him happiness.

Back in 1979 when I was teenager in the Philippines, Leif went to Manila to promote his album. Me and my sisters were watching him on tv and were screaming like crazy, the police on patrol heard us and came to the house to check if something is wrong.

I just was reading his book and came here to look at old videos of him. In his book he said he broke his nose several times from messing around as a kid and teen. This is hard to believe, his nose is cute, most who break their nose do not end up with such a nice nose afterward. He's a doll here. 😍

Wow! His features are beautiful. His eyes and smile are amazing. I know he probably got sick of hearing it, maybe even became annoying, everyone fascinated with his looks, but he is probably one of the most attractive I've seen. My niece's younger son looks a lot like Leif, except a head taller, and shorter hair (but still tousled blonde). It's his eyes and nose that are so much like Leif.

He was gorgeous!!!!!!! I was so in love with him when I was younger, I would buy the Tiger Beat magazines just to the centerfold pictures and posters of him and hang them on my wall. Very sad how his life turned out with all the drug use and drinking.

Yes the 70's were very different time. A much better time in the world and i'm not saying that because i grew up in the 70's. Our generation was after the turbulent 60's and the Vietnam War. And we were fortunate in that the biggest anxiety was the Cold War. We also didnt't have as many drug problems or racial and social issues during this period. However i will be the first to admit that my generation (1961-1963 tail end of baby boomer generation) ended up being one of the most selfish and self centered generations. Good people but for some reason they ended up becoming very conservative and self centered in many ways. I have always been a moderate to progressive but most of my friends ended up being conservative to the extreme.

Yes, he shouldn't have gone into the Car knowing Lief was drunk. It kind of reminds me of School's Out, The Degrassi Movie where Lucy Fernandes goes into a Car with Derek "Wheels" Wheeler knowing he was Drunk and almost ended up Blind and Paralyzed for life. Looking back I sometimes wished he had talked to Aaron Carter who almost became another Teen Idol Tragedy but thanks to help and counselling he's much healthier. When a person is on Drugs, they always look bad. Did you know that when he was addicted to Drugs, Smokey Robinson weighed 180 when he was supposed to be 200 Pounds.
