@@sjurjans7137 - " if you believe nothing then why even care if many others in the World are believers?" Because others in the world who are believers tend to think that I AM SUPPOSED TO believe what they believe. If religion isn't kept in check - ALWAYS - then it grows legs, arms, and weapons and then IT BECOMES LAW!! It ALWAYS happens that way if it is not continually kept its place. You want to believe in your own nonsense, fine. Just don't exclude EVERYTHING ESLE in favor of it. NOT recognizing all the human effort, endeavor, success, sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears - and then just giving ALL of the credit to whatever your favorite "Gawd" is at the moment is, at a minimum insulting and, in the extreme, DANGEROUS! And I DO believe in something! I believe in Humanity, reality, and the judicious application of the Scientific Method and mathematics. Those things are REAL, largely predictable, and they actually WORK!! Go ahead and pray to Allah to give you a new car tomorrow, or pray to Budda to grow a new arm or leg on an amputee. IT WON'T HAPPEN - DUH!! But if you actually WORK for your money and go BUY a car, THEN you will have one. If you turn to medical science to build a prosthetic, then an armless man will have an arm - NO THANKS TO ANY GOD!! HUMANS did that. NOT GOD! Because this is a must, only medical professionals are authorized to help unless he is in a direct danger like fire,, etc. Moving a crashed person by someone like us can lead to more injuries, if he has an injured neck a wrong move can paralyze him. So they wait for the medics to do it, which is the right thing to do.

I think it actually broke his tibia and he blew the other knee in the fall when that binding didn't release. He got the concussion and broken collarbone when he hit the bystander, I bet. "Tommy Ford, the top American man with three World Cup podiums in this Olympic cycle, will miss the rest of the season, including next month’s world Alpine skiing championships, due to injuries from a race crash on Jan. 9... He tore some knee ligaments in his knee and hand, plus suffered a concussion in being knocked unconscious temporarily."

i was trying to figure out why he fell so hard ...Just after he lost his line looks like he did still make it with both skis around that gate where he crashed ... but i think after watching it in stop motion, from coming across there at the too low/bad angle and crossing over the rut it just instantly blasted off the heel release on his left ski binding and i think thats why he slammed head first right there ?

@vanhalen1975 there was nothing wrong with his run. The g force probably where to much for 1 knee and i couldn't stop the turn because his weight shifted back which made him lose controll of his skies.

I screen recorded it then played it frame by frame when it was paused. His leg moves 360 at the end!!! You see the initial break when he first hits the ground. Essentially his ski didn’t allow his leg to follow the momentum of his body and it gave way at the weakest point being the knee joint. I’m not sure he will ever ski professionally again. Not only did that initial one look bad. But as he tumbled down the hill it kept doing more damage. Very unfortunate and exactly why you won’t catch me doing that

Tbh I’ve been in some pretty serious crashes and I’ve seen some worse ones and this one didn’t LOOK all that bad but that can be deceiving. Obviously he’s still hurt but if those skis hadnt come off he could have ended up with a shattered tibia and fibula like my dad and that hit could cause a concussion but it also could have been much harder. Biggest concern for me would be him hitting the fence head first
