Accent Reduction: How Spanish Speakers Can Master The American English Accent Like a Native Speaker.
Welcome to GB Voice Academy! Home of the Revolutionary, Groundbreaking Accent Reduction Technique called "SOUND MAP" that Is Taking the World By Storm! An accent reduction practice that WILL show instant results!
Welcome to my American English Pronunciation and Voice Coach KZread Channel! I’ve been teaching people just like you from all around the world how to speak American English with an American accent for over 15 years.
As an Award Winning Broadway Credited Voice, I always found it fascinating when my foreign students would be able to sing a standard American song with a perfect American English accent. Somehow singing completely eliminated their accent. Since that discovery, I have created a proven, groundbreaking, easy to understand, result oriented approach to reduce, and in some cases eliminate the foreign accent completely (don't worry, it doesn't involve you singing LOL!).
Welcome to the Accent Reduction Gym! The ONLY way we can learn how to master the American accent and sounds and rhythms is to retrain our tongue and soft palette muscles to create these American sounds and rhythms that your body is just not used to making. I will be providing you with specific exercises focusing on the sound and feel of specific American "Targeted" sounds and how they link to each and every consonant. In addition, I will share specific singing techniques to help create reliable muscle memory that you can call upon instantly. This technique has helped thousands of my accent reduction students master the American Accent and sound rhythms a lot faster.
By the end of this course you would have gone through every possible combination of sounds. There will be nothing you will come across that we haven't covered in your practice. Our goal is to make sure these improvements are retained, so you can call upon them when you need them. That will involve practicing on your end. If you commit to the practice exercises I provide in this course, you will master the American English sounds and rhythms much faster! Take the first step to propel your career to the next level!

By far the best video here showing how to properly master the American Sound. Great content!
YOU ARE LITERALLY THE GOD OF HOW TO MASTER ACCENTS
Wow, I’m impressed. I’m a native Spanish speaker teaching English in Asia. And I really know the struggle with these sounds. I’m still studying English. It’s incredible what you’re doing to help us. I love the American Accent and this is just amazing. Thanks a lot.

Total espectacular y además divertido. Ya ahora entiendo porque me dicen que tengo un acento horrible jajaja
I am shocked! I would have never guess just by your voice you were Hispanic...You have a perfect accent and beautiful voice. I am Argentinean and live in the US. I've been here for 24 years and I haven't mastered the accent yet. I am hoping your videos will help me. Thank you!
In the American Catholic Church we have Philippine and East Indian priests with heavy accents. They can be here for years without improvement in their public speaking skills. Their parishioners are struggling and tuning out. I often think the Church really needs a formal accent reduction program to alleviate this problem.
I am a Chinese, but still find this video very useful! Although I make the correct mouth movement and tongue position with each sound, I still not sound like a native speaker. My place of articulation is influenced by Cantonese. KZread has lots of videos on IPA. It lacks videos on American place of articulation. There may not be a lot of viewers now. It’s beyond typical advance level. I think the viewers will build up. You are a pioneer!

Well done! I love your courses. One dead giveaway of Spanish speakers is the V sound. Somehow V sounds like a B. Your Chinese speaker video is also on point - Chinese staccato rthym and run on sentences. We are also Chinese Spanish couples. We laughed at each other's accent all the time. Jajaja (
Love this video. Thanks
Very nice bro
Awesome video!
thank you! gracias!

Oh my lanta!! I’ve been told my accent is subtle but some still pick up on it. I just realized I wasn’t pronouncing the American O correctly! Words like own and open is when my accent would come out! Mind blown. THANK YOU
I am a native Spanish speaker and Peruvian citizen. I work as a teacher of American English for Elementary and High Schools in Lima City, PERÚ. I've studied the American English language at ICPNA. I remember=think back=think of VOWELS PRONUNCIATION in Phase 3: ADVANCED, A1 Phonology 1 (Focus on Pronunciation and International Phonetic Alphabet) with Mr. William Liebe (Canadian teacher and native English speaker). Thank you very much for your explanation about Vowels Pronunciation. Congratulations!
This is amazing and exactly what I’ve been looking for ! Do you have this for the Spanish accent!!
Thank you
Love this. Subbed :)
following, you're awesome
Do you have a Udemy or other course specifically for native Spanish speakers? I like how this video is specifically for Spanish speakers, but the Udemy course doesn't seem specific.
Hi, amazing video. Can you pls do this for "r" and "d" sounds? I'll be so grateful. Thanks in advanced.
This is awesome. I love my Spanish accent but it really confuses people. I know far more English than I know Spanish yet the accent doesn’t wanna go anywhere

Can you make more videos for Spanish Speakers, please ? Thanks
Beautiful story 🥺, I can only imagine how you felt as a child while standing with your dad . I was actually born in New Jersey but I moved to a predominantly Hispanic town and I have picked up an accent. I actually get embarrassed because I do not speak Spanish but I sound like a bootleg Dominican, ( im domincian/ Italian American) . Any suggestions?
Great video and good class. What nationality is your ancestry ?
Hello sir, how long have you been speaking English?
Gracias por tu interesante video Gabriel ¿A qué edad aprendiste inglés?

Do you have or know of anything that does the reverse? As a beginner/intermediate speaker, I would like to develop proper pronunciation for Spanish.

I struggle with the same issue. I always thought I didn’t have an accent but it’s the videos/ voice recording that’s where we hear our actual voice.
I always thought all American sounds were projected from down in the throat, as supposed to high in the mouth.
