It’s American Ninja Warrior for these models!
ATNM is honestly so fascinating. Like basically none of the contestants ever went on to have a successful career, all the fashion houses thought it was stupid and didn't want to touch it, they physically and psychologically tortured young women but everyone (me included) was just like, "yeah this is totally fine and chill"
@TaDarling1

There were a few that got a little more fame in the modeling world. I've seen Danielle from season 6, Bianca from season 9 and Amina from season 5 as models on the show Project Runway. And then there's Winnie Harlow, the model with vitiligo, who as of today is a pretty famous runway model and in high demand. Last year, she was one of the judges on the show "Making the Cut" with Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn. Eva Marcelle also had a successful modeling career but then she moved over into acting and has been appearing on a lot of sitcoms and was on the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

@@TaDarling1 - Yea but Winnie was already a famous Instagram model, and her runway career began after filming, but before her season aired. So her success couldn't really be attributed to the show. No other constestant reached the stardom she had. In fact, the reason she was chosen was bc she was getting a lot of buzz in the fashion world and Tyra needed a contestant that would finally help legitimize the show. That didn't happen bc Winnie herself stated that she doesn't attribute ANTM for her skyrocket to fame, bc she was already being scouted by big fashion designers before anyone seen her on the show.

@@lepa2863 gurl the amount of projecting in this reply lol. First off idk why u come at us and telling us how our life's are and who were friends with because we realize how literally insane these "challenges" are. A runway show has nothing to do with acrobats and literal flying disk running in the air to hit u 💀. It's about the literal fashion u are wearing that's the challenge and how well u pull it off not how crazy of a runway you can pass is. And for someone who makes these challenges Tyra Banks has not one time done anything as challenging as the runway shows she makes these people run. Some fun facts: 1. For the pendulum runway, the pendulums are not moving on itself, some people standing at the higher up balcony HOLD the pendulums and released it so it could somehow collide with the girls. 2. In the bubble catwalk challenge, no one fall actually, so the producers make the girls walk the second time, and they make the runway more slippery and make them go faster so they will fall.

Tyra: *Bans smoking from models because they cared for their health* Also Tyra: Hmm, I want them to walk underwater with piranhas in it.
My toxic trait is think I could totally murder those runways 💀💀
I just love how as a kid this set my standard for "top models", like if I wanted to be one I had to be ready to handle the worst of the worst. Actual modelling is legit easier than half of this shit.
Tyra writing these challenges at 2am has me dead 💀😭🤣 I can so see that being exactly how these challenges come about 🤣🤣🤣
Never saw the show, never knew about how messed up it was, but as an outsider looking in, I see this and I realize - this entire program is teaching beautiful, ambitious young women to say yes to anything and everything the “professionals” in the modeling industry force onto them. And considering how sick and twisted some people are when it comes to being in a position of power over impressionable and trusting women, that is…just so wrong. They were teaching these ladies to let other people trample all over their boundaries in the name of fame, literally conditioning them for being taken advantage of in the future. It’s awful, it’s disgusting, how was this allowed and why aren’t the people responsible being dragged through hot coals for this.
Tbh the candle one is funny to me because where I'm from in Mexico we do many dances involving balancing things on our head. I can dance with a candle on my head without gluing it to a plate. This is after an entire childhood of practice though. Poor girls were set up 😭
Its a miracle really how no one got seriously hospitalised from these runways
4:43 the bubble sound effect is KILLING ME💀💀💀
3:08 IM DEAD 💀💀💀
6:18, it's giving Cassie. If you know you know
Your ability to edit these video’s is a feat i truly admire and i DO think this video deserves to be taught in schools.

Hope its joke
my toxic trait is thinking i could do these so easily
sorry but no one's been talking about how hilarious the editing is ??? this show is one thing but the sound effects and the memes are killing me I can't even lie
They should’ve made Tyra do the stunts first, let the expert show them how it’s done
5:21 got me 💀
This was straight torture!💀Tyra was foul for all this lmao
At 5:31 the blond girl on the right is Carrie from Austin and Ally.
I don't know how relevant referencing the movie Dodgeball is, but this gives absolute "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball" energy.

The conveyor belt one had me ROLLING 💀😭
5:53 What? ... am I not hot enough?? The fire GHOSTED ME Q_Q
This has some of funniest editing I’ve seen in this channel to date😂💀💀💀
“Your next challenge will be a runway, but the twist? You have to dodge automatic gunfire in 16 inch heels.”
I think the one with boards on water, a conveyor belt and the one with the giant pendulum that slammed Alexandra are my Top 3 Moments of the Show.
The fact that most of the runways are from Season 16 (the head candle runway, the plastic ball runway, the belt runway and the fire hands one too) 😭😭😭 those gurlies were PUT to hell with these runways
It seams like this show is out to get small models who want to make it big so they can humiliate them on television…
I used to watch the show when I was a child and my mother hated it she thought it was sadistic and stupid and had nothing to do with fashion, I thought to myself that my mother was a clown who knew nothing about fashion 💀 turns out me and Tyra were the clowns all along 🤡🤣
2:55 It’s giving Takeshi’s castle lmaourrr

Omg The Kardashians were on an episode? There was a whole phase where Kim, Kourtney and Khloé would just arrive at a Reality Show as one unit.

they used to have a clothing line together called "DASH". on that show, the contestants were challenged to model the clothes on a carousel runway

@@bramwijayavid whats even FUNNIER is that it was all stars season aka the most memorable non-winning contestants coming back for the second shot
Your videos always relieve anxiety and lift my spirit.
this had me dead asf, you a champ for this one!
With the vertical runway thing, in Asia's next top model the most, Cindy Bishop, actually walked the vertical runway before the models and she slayed. I would be less mad if Tyra proved it's doable lol
i feel so horrible for these models they do not deserve this humiliation omf
I feel bad for laughing at those poor models 😭 they didn't deserve this... then i realized i didn't laugh at their misfortunes, but i laughed so hard bc how *stupid and absurd* these ridiculous challenges are. 😂🤣
Hahah all the sounds were hilarious ,i dod not expect this lol
03:16 LMFAOO!!! Those poor contestants went through hell for this masterpiece 😅
Even when i was young some of the runways always felt crazy to me, like i would sit there and be like what does this have to do with fashion? Now looking back I'm pretty sure Tyra was doing some Saw esque psychological torture on these girls

You literally can’t help but feel bad for these women
They’re making the runways flipout obstacle courses 💀
I feel so bad for laughing at the poor girls 😂😂😂😂
The point of a runway is to show off the couture , not to have all these crazy challenges 😭
fashion is a risk exactly like his eyebrows 😂😂😂😂 1:26
