You'll be able to see this incredible specimen in person at Avant Mining Fisher Mountain - / avantfishermountain - located at 11 Logan Gap Road, Mount Ida, Arkansas 71957!
Want to find your very own quartz crystals? Visit our public quartz dig at Fisher Mountain! Just purchase mining permits at 11 Logan Gap Road, Mount Ida, Arkansas 71957 - the cost is $25 each for adults, $20 each for seniors, $10 each for children 7-15 and children under 7 are free. Currently our hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (weather permitting), but soon we'll be open seven days a week!

I managed to catch a few pieces from this site to work. Is one of the better quality and more stabile pieces I have worked from the dozens of different I have worked. Finished beautifully. Living in Mississippi, it’s great to know that we have quality material not that far away. It’s also nice to know it is managed by a great group of people.
