Powerful Insights From Patrick Bet-David:
“If there’s anybody that should be against printing money, it’s low and middle income families, [...] the poor and middle America can’t keep money, they spend it, and when they spend it what do they buy, they buy a product owned by somebody in the S&P 500…[...] money flows up.”
“Middle America is getting smaller and smaller and smaller every single time we print money.”
“Right now you have to be looking at this shit out there. What part of it do I control? What part of it do I have no control over, [...] I have to figure out how to increase my market value or else I’m going to get crushed.”
“If you’re going to spend more time on Netflix more time watching all these shows, [...] if you’re going to spend more time on that than building value for yourself, learning new skill sets, yes the market’s not going to favor you the next 18 to 36 months.”
“If you have fear, respect, and love, that boy has the highest likelihood of doing something big with his life.”
“If you want to be the guy of the guys, of other guys, you can’t go by the standard as everybody else does.”
“Choose your enemies wisely - it’s business planning for the audacious few, not the timid majority.”
“If you’re going to do something big, you’re automatically going to have some enemies.”

Some parallels to late Rome: 1) Debauching of Currency 2) Moral Degradation or Nihilism 3) Collapsing borders 4) Constantly increasing military expenditures 5) Migration of rural population to major cities 6) Shift from productive to consumptive economy 7) Bread and Circuses (i.e. entitlements, sports, entertainment culture, gambling, etc.)

Yea it’s a good quote. I do think people have become way too soft. But is it just me being a (almost) 49 year old guy, having gone through great game designer jobs and some really hard physically demanding jobs for a decade? Or am I being too hard on people of today, who simply don’t need to be as tough as men back in ww1 & 2 days.

Putin, Biden, Zelenskyy, Israel and Hamas ALL have a single financier, and since ya'll don't know... the borrower is SERVANT to lender! All war is deception -- Sun Tzu. Until you grasp how you've been deceived, you have no chance. 2022 was a peek... but just a peek. The food and monetary system are just as corrupt as the CovFeFe Big Event. Be patient, save your money, don’t gamble it. And wait for a moment to buy, when is that I don’t know, but right now it is the worst time to buy. You don’t buy when interest is high and price is high. Wait for a time price is reasonable, which is within 5x median income of that zip code, and interest is relatively low (whenever fed announces they are stop lowing rate)

A recession is like 20% gdp shrink and job loss or something like that and depression is the same bench marks but way worse. I personally believe the gdp and assets only are growing because 40% of all us money created was in 2020-2022 so I think the 2% inflation is actually like 15% a year for the past 10 years just look at houses.

Ironically, Trump said back in 2015-16 that Yellen was keeping rates low to help the Democrats and warned that raising them just a little bit and you would see very bad things ..calling the economy a big fat ugly bubble .. Trump was right but proved he wasn't serious once he became president

Tom this is one of your better interviews. Excellent insight on how this world really operates and solutions on how to move forward. Humility and courage shake things up but they are necessary for better outcomes. I learned in middle school to get off the bandwagon and think for myself and I encourage all those around me to do the same by reading, researching, reminding ourselves that we don’t know everything and we may never, and to step back and observe. Most “evils” become evident when you step back and observe.

This was a very enjoyable podcast! The 3 hrs went by quickly! There are no doubts or reservations that Tom and Patrick are two brilliant individuals doing what they can, from where they are, to make a better world. That noted, I want to mention a condition that I observed in each of them. A condition that most will judge to be preposterous indeed. Even so, I'm going to share what I observed with you. Neither Tom or Patrick knows what they are or who they really are. They don't know where they are or what they're doing. Nor do they know why they are. They are both asleep dreaming a world but neither is aware that he is asleep and dreaming (they went to sleep long, long ago before the beginning of time). They believe the dream they're having is real. And it is through their being, doing and having in the dream that is validating the dream as being an actual reality as well as ensuring they continue to sleep and not awaken. I would encourage both Tom and Patrick to explore the works of the late Dr. David Hawkins. What Dr. Hawkins has to say has a way of prompting one to begin questioning the guardians of sleep, which the guardians abhor.

Selfish vs. selfless. Around 1 hour 50. Best description I’ve ever heard. One addition. Father and mother. The best team for raising kids. Father 70% selfish 30% selfless. Mother 70% selfless 30% selfish. Can’t beat that combination.

In due consideration I must express that I believe you have the numbers backwards. Either that or both are 70% selfless and 30% selfish. I understand nomenclature that would tend is towards such a belief but scrutiny exposes that a good father gives his life to his family and there is a good argument to say that 70% selfless is still insulting

  • @theverdictisstillout

    @theverdictisstillout

So true. It all depends on how you look at it. Having a career outside the home especially if it is one you enjoy and spending 70% of your focus on that could be considered as “selfish” vs a stay at home parent who would be the opposite having sacrificed a personal career for family. That said we could very easily argue it the other way around in the exact same circumstances. The career oriented person misses out on much that goes on at home sacrificing most of their time to provide for their family while the stay at home person in this scenario could be considered 70% selfish for not providing and not wanting to miss out on that family time. It’s all how you want to see it.
