While they SHOW an audience, I get the feeling that they are NOT in the studio with the cast. My reason is that Martin Mull, Fred and Mr Devolo, never really seem distracted by the audience. MM seems to just plow through his monolog and pause when wants to, NOT to wait for the audience to calm down. Wonder...

i thinnk thats just the style. i heard a story as to why it is full of senior citizens . Free tickets couldn't get people in so they asked a senior center if they wanted tickets witch was something the center was glad to have to offer the old foke an afternoon out.
