My mother died alone in her bed from alcohol poisoning. I'm an only child and she lived by herself. I'm also an alcoholic. After the funeral I laid in that same bed with a bottle of vodka. This album came on and and I told myself I wouldn't go out like her and I put the bottle down. Sometimes music does the strangest things. Solitary Reign was the song.

Yes, Amenra hits on another level...like Saor, it's something special. Interesting: when I listen to Amenra or Saor, my cat gets pretty chilled and listens to their music. But only when these two are on the playlist. So, yes, it must hit on an emotional level.

The first kick and the first notes after the drones marked itself in my existence.. It kicked hard and cut sharp and clean, unveiling agony kept within ... a few notes and a single scream were enough to express it, no need for a thousand !

Me too. I went to a show in Toronto to see VOIVOD and Amenra was the first band. It was my first time hearing of them. Lucky to discover them there seeing them live like that. I was right up against the stage watching at point blank. Amazing. I left the show a fan for life. Started looking up all their stuff. This is more than just another metal band. It is a state of mind.

Yes, the sync issues have been fixed! Outstanding performance, recording, mixing, and film work. Let the emotional palette cleansing begin.
