Hey, Doc I hope you’re doing well. Unfortunately, I was infected this year while living in Indonesia. I’ve been treated in January, March and just recently in June every time with Metronidazole. Unfortunately, the parasite seems to be very resistant to this treatment. My last treatment which I finished 6 days ago was: Metronidazole 750mg, 3X per day for 10 days. Followed by Paromomycin 750mg, 3X’s per day for 10 days. In total, 20 days of antibiotics and my symptoms are not much better than they were before I started the treatment. I’m honestly very worried and could use any valuable information you have to treat and cure this parasite infection. Thank you for sharing valuable information about this parasite. Unfortunately, this parasite is ruining my life and my career, please help me if you have any solutions.

doc.. mike good evening ...galing ako sa sakit na amebiasis ...mola noon hangang ngayon sera ron tiyan ko..ang gamot na ibinigay sa doctor ko ..amindazole ..bakit hindi metronidazole

Nagtatae ako ngayon kumukulo tyan ko 3 days na after ko kumain ng gulay nabili sa karinderia till now every day 10 up ako nagtatae.
