IMGs can apply for the competent authority pathway. For example if someone does PLAB 1 and 2 and complete foundation year 1 in the UK, he/she can apply for provisional registration without having to sit for the AMC examinations

Hi! Thank you for your video. Very helpful. But I still have some questions. I'm an IMG graduated in 2010 in Ukraine. I have a surgery and clinical oncology trainings and practicing oncology in Russia currently. I also passe USMLE Step 1 and 2 (CK+CS), but no Step 3. Do I have any opportunities in Australia or do I have to take AMC1?

Please, I do have a question, or require clarification on this: It sounds like you mentioned that someone with experience will not have to write the AMC exam? What kind of experience are you talking about? For example, I am a non-specialist general practitioner aka medical officer IMG, with at least 5 years of continuous practice in my country, interested in relocating to Australia. It would seem that you mention that someone like me would be exempted from the AMC. Or, did I not get that correctly? If so, what do I have to do, please?

That is if you have GMC registration and have minimum of 1year work from experience in UK, then you are exempted from AMC

Then I clicked on "country" and after that a list of medical schools were came. In the list my medical school was also there. Does this mean that my medical school is eligible for AMC registration?

mrcp is just a entry level exam . In Australia , uk both countries after mrcp it will take 6-8 years to be consultant.
