Walk with me, as we find ourselves at the beginning of Minaus River Park in a beautiful autumn evening of Connecticut. Listen in to the crickets coming out for the night as we walk up river initially. The rush of the river water will not outdo the crunch of the dry fall leaves from under our steps. Watch your step as the path turns from nice easy soil to firm gravel, with parts of large rocks. Through the walk we will hear the birds above and the crisp breeze swaying the trees above us. Try to find the squirrels and chipmunks throughout the park trying to fill up before winters start.
