I love how no matter wat Amber has done Gary has always told Leah to love and respect her and never let her talk bad but also told her the truth. He’s doing a great job as a dad

That’s how it always should be. Mothers and fathers should really learn to separate the personal issues that they have as adults from the issues with the children. It’s unfortunate so many broken families won’t do the same.

Yea I think he had a really bad relationship with his own mom & refuses to let that happen with Leah even though Amber has her issues. I think Gary truly understands that not all ppl have it together & that's ok. He's not one to lord that over them, but will hold them accountable.

I don’t know why I have such an issue with this comment. Idk.. I think that’s a terrible thing to base someone’s worth based on grades. All my life I was a C plus student until I got to college and got straight A’s but I turned out better than my pupils! I just remember struggling really bad in school but in real life, I excelled! They all still live with their parents! We are well into our 30s and they still rely on their parents. I have been working since I was 9! Very little of that stemmed from public school. Honestly, it was just life! I worked for one of the richest people on the Planet! I just never understood that pressure, when I turned out better than everyone else that performed better than me when I was in school.

Right ! It’s sad! People need to stop using children as weapons towards the other parent. It’s time for adults to be adults. I love that Gary never used leah as a pawn. Even when Amber was with other guys and even when she didn’t make the right decisions he still let Leah see and talk to her mother. Because kids LOVE their mom and dad. I’m sure Gary can’t stand Amber half the time. He never put Leah in the middle of it.

Not to defend Amber but not totally true, he was immature in the beginning and kept Leah from her at times for no reason, even when she was bettering herself, getting an education and doing the right thing. He definitely used Leah as a pawn way back when. But he matured, and you can never say that he's not a great father. He even chose a wonderful stepmom for her.

Leah is amazing. So mature and wise beyond her years. She’s also gorgeous. Gary is a phenomenal dad. Who knew watching 16&P that Gary would turn out to be one of the best dads in the series!

Leah has shown such maturity amongst this whole situation the last few years. For her to see the work Amber has put in tells us she has actually worked hard. If only the judge just spoke directly to Leah. Nobody has been more honest than her over the past few years. 😢

@@missscarlet7902 yeah because she is Andrews victim and he sit back and watched what triggered her when he worked on the set of family boot camp where they met and got her pregnant on purpose knowing it would throw her mind all out of sorts because she wouldn't be able to take her meds and after the baby she'd have to take a while to get them leveled back out again. He love bombed her then triggered her when she was at her most vulnerable mental state cause he knew he'd get the baby and a income for life.

She can't let people or things bring her to that angry place no matter what. She has to learn some self control. I don't doubt though that Andrew is Shady and always had the worst of intentions with Amber

You can say what you want but Gary has grown into a damn good father, and Christina having his back is a huge part of that. The empathy they all hold for Leah’s mom is rare, positive, and special ❤

She's so mature an compassionate, she isn't even jealous that her little brother had the relationship with her mom that she didn't get to have. And she is still worried about her mom and baby brother more than herself, even though she's gotten the shortest end of the stick.

I feel like Gary has done an outstanding job at teaching Leah how to be compassionate. Wow I’m just in awe of this family.

Leah is beautiful. Gary has done a fabulous job of raising a loving and caring young lady.

Gary & Kristina have done a great job raising Leah however it’s heartbreaking because Amber should see what her violence, selfish ways and drug use has done to her children! Leah had to grow up fast because of Amber’s abandonment and now James won’t have his biological mom in the picture! Everyone makes mistakes but Amber has massive mistakes checklist than the average person and yet this show keeps her on which only continues to enable Amber because she won’t hit rock bottom till she really has no money for drugs or being able to live a lavish life anymore and that’s really when people turn their life around and begin to act right!
