Gary is the most shocking to me. He has turned out to be such a great dad and person in general. He has been so open and patient for the sake of his daughter. At the same time he will protect his child if need be. Not to mention his wife. She is amazing.

I couldn't agree more. Thank GOD Gary was around. He really is a fantastic man. 👏 Leah is so lucky to have him as a Dad. If it was just Amber, the best and most loving thing she could have ever done for Leah would be to place her with another family. Sad, but true. So many incredible people are desperate to be parents, yet women like her get pregnant so easily.

I hate to see negative because people can change with help, guidance and good energy. Making someone change and understand what there doing wrong won't get you far being mean and nasty to them or downing them because then they won't have no encouragement. Getting them to change with showing there is a better way and helping them. Not proving your past defines your future. There's always hope no matter what one does, you can do and be better. Hard work can pay off and no mistake can be unfixed. That's why theres forgiveness and compared to how she use to be shes come a long way, with set backs. No ones perfect in this world 💯!

I agree. I have a 6 year old. I have left her bio father 2 yrs ago due to 12 years of Domestic violence, r*pe and mental abuse. My daughter saw some and unfortunately remembers. She asks questions every now and again and I answer APPROPRIATELY for her age and specifically to her question. As she gets older, I know she'll ask more, she may even want to know him and I have to again accept that. It's the APPROPRIATE information that you need to give your kids when it's the right time to allow them to make informative decisions whether they wish to reach out to the parent or not. No matter what that ex did to YOU, you still need to allow your children to make their own decisions when they are old enough with the information they have, and you as the parent need to try keep your emotion out of that information.

It’s probably so hard to still care for Amber after hearing Leah cry about her Mom, Christina is an amazing soul

I feel like everyone's memories are not long enough to remember how terrible Amber was to Leah. The emotional maturity Leah is showing by setting boundaries and protecting herself is incredible. Amber is NOT a good mother. Never has been. Her actions are horrible and traumatic. I don't agree with keeping children in uncomfortable situations around people that's caused them harm. Leah is clearly uncomfortable all the time around Amber. I wouldn't be surprised if she's anxious around her.

I admire Leah’s honesty, she’s amazing. Amber admitted she wasn’t a good mother and I think that’s the first step. I’m not saying that completely erases everything she’s done because the trauma won’t go away even if Amber does grow. Them giving Leah space and letting her do things on her own time is what’s best.

She treated Leah sooo horrible like she was a mistake and a nuisance to her from the very beginning!! And her using mental illness for her abuse is horrific!! Funny how she can be sooo happy and gitty when she has a new man !! If she can control her anger with a new man then she can also control it around her kids!!!! She doesn't want those kids no matter what she says!! It’s a sad situation for Roxanne and her daughters. It is definitely hard being rejected by your dad. I think you can tell Roxanne has been through a lot with her ex. She even mentions that he was mentally abusive. The hurt she shows at the end breaking down says it all. I feel bad for the 3 of them. No matter what Roxanne is still a great mom and supportive of her daughters.

I think it’s on Roxanne and it’s her business. If she didn’t think it was worth telling her daughters then she’s gonna do what’s right. And if they were both going to go then changed their mind before Roxanne even brought the rest up then they know they have gut feeling that he’s not gonna be good for them. That was their decision and they have no right to hold it against Roxanne.

Amber realizes that she needed help and got it. The support she gets from Gary is good. She's rebuilding herself for her kids. Briana and Brittany should understand that it's not easy as a mother trying to make their dad understand that he's missing having them in their lives, the grandkids. I reach out to my 2nd child father to make an effort and by the time he connected to both of his kids he passed away. He thanked me before for helping him do that. Briana as a mother doing the same for her girls should understand her mother's decision.

I know Amber has had a tough road but you have to put your child first, keep pushing them away and seeing them when it’s only convenient for you or saying u must call before coming over to your own moms house…eventually your child will push back & say no more. I don’t blame Leah. I had a mom like Amber ( minus the drugs) but you just eventually stop trying & stay to yourself & with your dad.

Every time she would see my dad & I gettin close she would sabotage it by tellin me lies that he really didn't say. 1 day I was in my middle 20's she told me if I have any kind of relationship with my dad she would disown me. Of course I didn't want that, so I didn't talk to my dad for a few yrs until I found out she had been lying to me all along. He told me he knew what I was goin through with all the lies she had told me & he was goin to wait on me to come around to him bc he knew the truth would come out 1 day. He says that's why we're no longer together to this day, & I told him that's why she's my birth mother & nothin more. Now today my dad & I are closer than what we ever have been & yes I'm a daddys girl lol.

Briana and Brittany don't realize when a man ruins you mentally emotionally. If a father don't attempt to reach out to their kids it's not the mother's fault. I have the same feelings about Amber as always. I am glad she has gotten help and is better than she was but it urked me when she said it can't be all her fault. Thats true but it mostly was. Roxanne needs to leave. She has never given her daughters space and is toxic. Like brit said she makes it all about her. I dont like brianna at all but i don't fully blame her. She acts the way her mother acts and raised her to be. I watch this show as a guilty pleasure but if there is one thing that is becoming so annoying in all of the teen mom series is EVERYONE HAS A VICTIM MENTALITY. Everyone is blaming someone else for being a jerk to others. Everyone needs to grow up already or write a new script.

I feel for Bri and Brit because they had to raise themselves emotionally. Mama was struggling with her own demons while these girls had to be strong and hold back their tears every time their mom fell apart. I can tell she's hurting bc she sees her kids following the same patterns with men. I hope one of girls can finally break the pattern/family curse. It may just be Stella and Nova.

I have so much respect for Gary and Kristina. A lot of parents would have stopped trying by now. They really do put Leah first regarding Amber. Kristina has always stepped up for Leah. Leah being able to set clear boundaries and act so maturely really is testament to her character - as well as being taught emotional maturity by Gary and Kristina (Hope I spelled that right)

I will never forget when amber saod she didn't want to live on the same property as gary because she didn't want Leah to think she could just come over whenever thats when I knew she would never be a good mom

Exactly. Amber was horrible. She has zero desire to be a parent. She chased Andrew with James in his arms with a machete! Especially when you consider that she was getting cheated on the whole time b/c Briana and her sister used to get babysat by the mistress. At first, Roxanne gave off bitter vibes to me but I love her now. She supports both of them SO MUCH...I had a lot of respect for her when she realized how much Devoin has stepped up over the years and gave him his flowers. EDIT: Roxanne lying about Brittany's bio dad is one of the times where I was like "you ain't shit" but she's def supported both of these girls above and beyond while some of these other moms would've kicked them out and taken custody of these kids.

As someone with a diagnosis of BPD, ADHD, Complex PTSD (which my psych is unofficially BPD) & panic disorder. I really understand and respect how hard Amber has been working to overcome her difficulties…

I mean we are all moms first of course but ladies we have demons too. Roxanne is 1000% a victim to him as well. However, she should have kept this all to herself and not tell bits and pieces.

Imagine being in a toxic family life and then bringing it to your kids. Briana always playing the victim and feeling sorry for yourself without actually making moves to heal from your past is a perfect example of why those generational curses and toxicity keeps cycling generation after generation.
