I’ll never forget this singer. Amber Holcomb was just so real and raw with her feelings and emotions and one can hear it all in her voice!!! I cry when she sings!!! I hope she continues with her career she’s got the ‘it’factor

This is my Favorite cover of this song, and I think it was the high water mark for my favorite American Idol contest...I think this is a world class performance...and it inspires me to try to do this cover myself. Technically Amber was absolutely the best contestant Candice just picked better rang that showcased her voice ,but Amber got my attention from her first appearance on idol stage.

Amber infuses classics with such plaintive throbbing , febrile longing and just plain wistfulness: few can manage to imbue any melody not to mention classics with such profound meaning...she ...Will never understand why this sublimely gifted young woman didn't win. This year they should ignore America's taste (for rap only) and get down to actual music.

Unless you are nasty and wild, talented singers won't have place in the music industry. There were numerous promising singers from different talent competitions, and very few of them were given good breaks. :( So sad.
