Any doubt I had that Johnny Depp was innocent disappeared as soon as Camille began asking Amber about the fact that she was taking embarrassing photos of her supposed abuser and sharing them with her friends. Camille asked if the fear of angering “the monster” stopped her from taking and sharing these types of photos. Amber responded “Why would it?”. ANYONE who has experienced abuse knows damn well why she should have been afraid. I honestly don’t understand how anyone who has experienced abuse or witnessed someone else experience abuse could EVER believe a word she says. She is responding the way she THINKS a survivor would respond. Not the way one actually would.

You`re missing the point. His messed up state of being, made him believe that he could take advantage of the naïveté of a young aspiring actress, 22 years younger than him (which basically could be his daughter by age difference) and turn her into his own creation. He wanted to control her existence from A-Z, which is super weird. Very disappointed by Johnny, back in 1999 i thought he was the man. Turns out he's a drug addled loser in real life. That bloke is a joke.

A year later I’m rewatching and the way she is actually trying to defame him on the stand and take any opportunity to make him seem bad , taking normal relationship stuff and trying to make it sound predatory, trying to portray herself as an unwilling participant- “Johnny convinced me to move in” “he said be my woman, be my woman, be my wife”, saying crap like “introduction of weed” and saying Kate James is an alcoholic . Literally not ‘ore than a minute went by without her trying to badmouth JD and everyone around. I get she is not well and she exaggerates his reaction while expecting him to accept her violence - but this is so many years later and this looks like when your teenage child is lying to you and to get out of trouble they go “you know this guy - he is like always lying and he is also dirty and Also he is hitting people “. It looks like a little child. I feel very sorry for her her emotional immaturity is actually insane. “He wouldn’t let me work “ and then a minute later “we were both always working” . He was threatening her if she left , yet on the recordings she is screaming how he is giving up and how they were going to have babies and what not. It is actually insane we got to witness this. And a great test of intelligence and emotional maturity- whoever can watch this and be so utterly dumb not to see the signs is definitely a walking red flag.

Watch her face when someone objects. She'll be trying to cry and all of a sudden its like a director yelled "CUT!"

Yeah I'm DV survivor too but everyone has to take into account. She also has a personality disorder. Maybe that's why she looks so awkward on the stand, looks cold, and could look her abuser in the eyes. There is a 25year difference in their age according to her testimony. So when she was 22 this man was 47. She pretty much was a homeless actress trying to make her dreams comes true. He really did have a huge unfair advantage over her just like in the court. He has more money more power. So no matter what she says, there is an unfair advantage here. I don't know the girls or track record but I do know she was too young to be taking care of a grown a** addicted man. But desperation and homeless will do that to you. I'm pretty sure there was some nights she had to sell herself out but don't mean she deserved to be slapped around and mentally abused. This man got enough money to destroy anyone who tries to come after his character. She's really brave to think she stood a chance. Now all of this will be for nothing b/c social media got her out here looking stupid and him looking like the friendly helpless carefree addict just getting abused by this women half his age gtfoh lol.

She also abuses her mental health medications and takes her own doses of seroquel. Just because she has a personality disorder does not excuse her from the allegations she made. Her personality disorder also contributed to her actions and perpetration of abuse. No amount of money or power over her could justify the lies she’s presenting the world with. She is setting an image that women who scream DV and SA in court are probably lying because the court will most likely back them up.

I am still having a hard time believing that Johnny was that badly addicted that he passed out everywhere, lost control of himself (like bathroom issues) and that his body guards would have to wash him and carry him all the time. I have now watched this twice. I did so to check myself because I wanted to be sure I am being fair minded. Well the truth is I had to stop several times the second time around because I found myself getting very angry. I realized this was because I felt her testimony was just too insulting to me as a woman, to each person in the courtroom and the entire judicial system. I never had a huge like or dislike for Johnny Depp, he just seemed like a regular actor to me. I did not really know anything about his personal life and just enjoyed the Pirates movies. This woman is scary and I believe she has no idea how to live anyone. Too young, selfish, judge-mental, cruel, and inhuman to be anyone’s partner. I could never take pictures of my partner like that and share with anyone. It is devastating to see she did it knowing full well he had an admitted addiction and she did drugs with him. She had such detail and drags his children into her story. She seemed so intent to PROVE. It is very clear she has control issues. I would think she could at least acknowledge one thing she did wrong but NOT ONCE. All that acting was so over the top. I tried to put all that aside to her immaturity but she was tracking him. Again it broke my heart to see him passed out with her taking pictures repeatedly. I almost came to tears each time because I could not understand why she had to do that so many times. It seemed she has been waiting to do this performance. I felt sorry for Camille, Elaine, the judge and that really young attorney on Depp’s team. All the women must feel traumatized by this woman being a woman with all these lies. Honestly I am an attractive woman and my husband is also attractive and we are both very proud of our appearance but I know not to intentionally do things that I know will make him jealous and he does the same for me. It is called respect and true love. When men try to flirt with me in front of him, I put a stop to it IMMEDIATELY and so does he. We have never ever talked about it, it is just a given. This woman has no clue and that is just a small example. I think if they let her talk for 8 hours she would have done do not one time admitting to any fault. The more she talked the more I became convinced she is lying. I hope she gets help.

Bonita, apart from your personal story, I underline every word you write. I only ever saw one Johnny Depp Film and didn't even know he was the star, just the film interested me. But I really think it was a challeng for him to listen to all these horrific reports, not one medical report but horrific destruction of a person character. His band tour was too much for her after she saw the relationship ending so she started the destruction. How could she be so happy, according to her report, to become his wife if he was mistreating her? No logic, no truth. If this woman had won this case, nobody would be safe in any parnership. I listened more than twice and cannot believe how really destructive this testimony is. Yes, I agree with your attitude that a short compliment is not worth hurting a parner and relationship for.

I agree but I don’t think it was just flirting. I think she was sleeping around especially with willing costars and he couldn’t prove it but felt something was off. I think that’s where the severe jealousy came in. Even before their divorce was final, she had 30+ “late night visitors” per Josh Drew’s testimony.

If you go by text book. They believe victims can recall colors, textures of material, etc.. but in reality, most sexually abused victims can't recall this or much of anything due to the trauma and their flight or fight response trying to save themselves from remembering these associated items. Smh this is an example of the bias of which most victims aren't believed due to their lack of recalection. Most victims try their best to block out any association with these kind of "triggers".

Read the Bio on Nicole and O.J. Simpson, watch the true movie "The Burning Bed." Her testimony and evidence presenting physical abuse was 7 hours long. Before that though, during Johnny's case, we ALREADY SAW HIS TEXTS APOLOGIZING FOR HIS ABUSE BECAUSE HE BECOMES A "MONSTER"..... We saw the black eyes he gave her, the busted lip, the chunks of skull he pulled out dragging her around by her hair, bruised arms, the smashed up house, etc. We also already saw from both of them that she wanted him to get sober BECAUSE he was so abusive when he was extra high/drunk. I can tell you from experience (I took 18 years to get out of Celebrity Spouse Abuse) that EVERYTHING Amber is describing is EXACTLY how it happens: 1). The beginning is the BEST ("magical")... 2). As soon as the Star thinks you don't worship him as much as his groupies do (e.g. when Amber laughed at his "Wino tattoo" and he hit her the first time), he HITS you. 3). The first time you sensibly run like hell, break up (as did Amber). 4). Then they CRY/BEG you to stay, tell you they can't live without you.. 5). Then they start controlling you, because they noticed you were capable of leaving the first time he hit you. They act extra jealous, make you afraid to even talk to other guys or girls.... 6). If you tell anyone about his abuse, which conflicts with his STAR IMAGE, that's the WORST: THEY BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU (just as Johnny lost it the worst when he thought she'd told his children about his drunken fits)..... 7). Each time they beat you, the SHOCK is worse, you become able to tune out as they beat you (hence why you don't remember details), like a soldier in combat, and your RESILIENCE becomes quite extraordinary too (you can bounce back to smiling just after being beat because that's what your abuser requires of you for public image). You have PTSD, just as Amber's therapist described to us before Amber testified. ***Each incident the abuse gets worse. The longer you stay per his request the more likely you are to start engaging back in the fight, because you've exhausted diplomacy attempts and you come to believe that your ONLY way to SAFETY IS TO FIX YOUR ABUSER (this is called "Battered Woman's Syndrome"). Each time the apologies come with more specific promises ("I'll quit drugs," "I'll do marriage counseling," both of which Johnny promised Amber).. And the thing is that until this mint she didn’t provide any evidence of what she experienced I mean you had time to take pix of the drugs but it didn’t occur to her take pix of that beating and threats he wrote for her in the walls I mean she describing him as some kind of a horror movie you know yet she has no proof other than pix of his drugs or what ever.. plus she keeps making it look that all that horror was seen by lots of people non of them called the police 🤔 and no one is welling to testify 😒 I mean if I was a nurse who saw what she’s claiming that’s it I’m calling the police on spot I don’t want any killing to happening on my watch

She says johnny had pressed record on her phone and she didn't know it....and says it was completely dead on a table when she found it. In the Australia audio....which she knows anyone can hear here on KZread....you hear her come clomping down the stairs in heels of some kind ( thought her feet were "sliced up pretty good") and speak to Jerry Judge AS she picks up her very much NOT dead and still recording phone and stop the recording. The most dangerous kind of evil....this woman. I'm so grateful that johnny is still breathing.

Interestingly enough she never showed any of these photos to Johnny. So it made no sense when she said “I wanted him to see it & to get help” but she kept these under wraps until after the divorce. She was collecting “evidence” to use as leverage & to extort Johnny.

In domestic abuse situations many victims don't seek medical attention or are prevented by the abuser. The fact is other than audio tapes and pictures people will never really know what went on between them because it happened behind close doors so many of these situations are a he said she said accusations. She can be the worst actress maybe not a good person, who knows? The point is we don't know and she may not be lying.

What a performance! No tears, no continuity of emotion. It’s good acting but not good enough because none of its real. If she was in fact feeling those emotions, she wouldn’t be able to just turn them off. And I lost count of the number of times she said, “he sort of” grabbed me, hit me, pushed me, etc.. A person either does or doesn’t do something. There is no ”sort of”.

Somehow I want to believe her, but also him. When I first heard about going to court I wanted to believe Johnny, but it's always important to hear both sides. It's so sad to see two big Hollywood stars succumb to this paraphrase. There's some evidence that makes me suspicious both ways, but what really happened we'll probably never know. @@braveheartfemale1 hahaha no, she's talking AT them. she's trying too hard to convince them. if she were HONEST the truth would speak for itself and she wouldn't have to try so hard. my comment wasn't even referring to when she talks to them but every other moment she is constantly looking at them even when the teams approach the bench. she's not just making eye contact to be truthful, she's trying to manipulate them and she's over doing the eye contact because she's hoping they will look at it as her being honest, just like you are somehow buying into. do you not see how she dances around and avoids certain questions or tries to twist words in her favour? all the recordings really show who she is, i think you need to open your eyes and actually watch and listen to what's in front of you. watch it all. the testimonies with ambers team vs johnnys is like night and day. you can tell johnnys team is interested in getting to the ACTUAL truth, not whatever fabricated naritive amber and her team are trying to set up by twisting people's words.

@@TaylorMae27 , NO MATTER HOW PROPERLY Amber looks people in the eyes, speaks in detail and consistently, no matter how her hair is, how her dress is, you HATE MOB just sit here and criticize every little thing she does, and NONE OF WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS CASE. Johnny abused Amber for years. He promised to get better but didn't. So, she had to get a Restraining Order against him and divorce him. Now, he's trying to steal her money too via a lie that he was supposedly some calm angel to live with.... He's lying to you, and you're falling for it. IN fact he owes Amber for putting her through his lies. He also owes her millions per the divorce judge, but Amber didn't even accept the money. She just wanted to GET AWAY FROM HIS VIOLENCE.

You need help I feel like your mocking people like myself who have been abused so badly....Carla from the UK...

@@canrom578 he met amber, they flirted and as she stated had "serious chemestry" started sending her lavish gifts, while she was still with her ex..and then eventually they both broke it off with their respective partners and got together. "In secret" so no one would think she was a home wrecker. So yes, no matter which way they try to paint the picture..its clear to us that he most definitely left his wife for her.

How did she get punched, get her feet cut up, choked, etc. and then get on a plane- around tons of people- and then get home and call her friends to have fun at a pool in her hotel....and no one saw a mark on her... really? What the heck is wrong with this women? She is scary crazy... holy cow Or how she mentions not being able to remember most of what happened when Johnny had his finger cut off, but knows she didn't trash the house or write crap on the mirrors, etc.

@@braveheartfemale1 Wow. Starting off with an ad hominem. Did you have any kind of actual argument or rebuttal? I couldn't care less about Mr. Depp or Ms. Heard here, I'm simply making a comment about what I've observed about gaps in her testimony and my personal opinion about this woman. That being said, although I think Ms. Heard was the main aggressor in the relationship, I think Johnny was pretty scummy to leave his wife and fell right back into the same kind of victim role his mother had him in as a child. He brought it on himself to some degree, and he paid for it dearly.

Haha! Same! I don’t cry easily but I always feel compassion and empathy when I watch a victim of trauma get emotional. She evokes nothing but contempt and humor in me. It’s just all lies and bad acting. I literally cannot believe anything that comes out of her mouth.

You don't even know what this case is about. Johnny is trying to get millions from Amber by lying that he never abused her. He's claiming that her op ed, in which she references being in domestic violence herself, is supposedly not true. We already have seen LOTS OF EVIDENCE that he DID abuse her.

This is so triggering I’m literally laying in bed listening to her made up stories thinking about the 7 years of severe abuse I survived. Doesn’t she realize these things have happened to people? It’s so triggering I’m I’m in tears and I haven’t thought about the man that nearly took my life in years. The worst part is that I don’t believe a word of it. Smh How could she weaponize what has taken so many peoples lives….

She wasn't lying. She is telling the truth. And she didn't even want to, but Depp is a sociopath and dragged her to court twice to make her relive the trauma. This trial is post separation abuse.

When I watched JD'S testify, it was obvious that he was physically and emotionally abused by AH (there is literal recorded evidence even if you ignore everything else). When I heard about the horrible accusations she had made in her testimony, I thought how horrible if it were true. Watching her testimony relieved me of that worry. You can tell that she has rehearsed what she's saying, and she's intentionally making those awkward pauses to make it seem like she's trying to remember/traumatized; but you can tell it's fake because the pauses are not in natural places. It's. uh, harsh to watch. Because she's obviously lying, but also because she's supposed to be a professional actress.

It's OBVIOUS they were IN LOVE and had INTENSE FIGHTS. The question isn't if she engaged in his abuse; the question is if her op ed was accurate. We've seen enough evidence that HE DID ABUSE HER AT TIMES (whether she sunk to that too at times is irrelevant)

Wouldn't her feet be full of cuts from the glass she stepped on while barefoot?? If there's tons of glass all over the floor and she was barefoot, doing and sliding, as she testified, her feet would've totally been cut up! I can't drop a glass on my floor without cutting my feet on it, two weeks later, even after fight a thorough sweeping. I'm surprised no one has brought this up. She definitely would've left bloody footprints and have scarring on her feet.

Feet didn't matter. We saw her smashed up FACE AND HEAD, and the BROKEN bed where he held her down and punched her nearly to death.

When I listened to JD TESTIMONY OF HOW AH PSYCHOLOGICALLY ABUSED HIM, ALL YU CAN FEEL FOR HER IS INTENSE HATRED AND SHOCK AT HER EVIL. ITS DISGUSTING THE THINGS SHE SAID TO HIM, DAY AFTER DAY. THEN TO NOW LOOK AT HER ARROGANT FACECAND LISTEN TO HER OUTRAGEOUS , OVER THE TOP LIES, ITS UNBELIEVABLE. WHAT LEVEL OF VISCOUSNESS IS THIS.

I don't belive a thing she says I'm all for defending women but in this case I'm having a very hard time believing her.

Amber is TELLING THE TRUTH. This is CLASSIC CELEBRITY SPOUSE ABUSE. ASK ANY WOMAN WHO'S BEEN THROUGH IT, ANY BATTERED WOMENS' THERAPIST, ANY COP WHO'S ANSWERED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CALLS!!! Read the Bio on Nicole and O.J. Simpson, watch the true movie "The Burning Bed." Her testimony and evidence presenting physical abuse was 7 hours long. Before that though, during Johnny's case, we ALREADY SAW HIS TEXTS APOLOGIZING FOR HIS ABUSE BECAUSE HE BECOMES A "MONSTER"..... We saw the black eyes he gave her, the busted lip, the chunks of skull he pulled out dragging her around by her hair, bruised arms, the smashed up house, etc. We also already saw from both of them that she wanted him to get sober BECAUSE he was so abusive when he was extra high/drunk. I can tell you from experience (I took 18 years to get out of Celebrity Spouse Abuse) that EVERYTHING Amber is describing is EXACTLY how it happens: 1). The beginning is the BEST ("magical")... 2). As soon as the Star thinks you don't worship him as much as his groupies do (e.g. when Amber laughed at his "Wino tattoo" and he hit her the first time), he HITS you. 3). The first time you sensibly run like hell, break up (as did Amber). 4). Then they CRY/BEG you to stay, tell you they can't live without you.. 5). Then they start controlling you, because they noticed you were capable of leaving the first time he hit you. They act extra jealous, make you afraid to even talk to other guys or girls.... 6). If you tell anyone about his abuse, which conflicts with his STAR IMAGE, that's the WORST: THEY BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU (just as Johnny lost it the worst when he thought she'd told his children about his drunken fits)..... 7). Each time they beat you, the SHOCK is worse, you become able to tune out as they beat you (hence why you don't remember details), like a soldier in combat, and your RESILIENCE becomes quite extraordinary too (you can bounce back to smiling just after being beat because that's what your abuser requires of you for public image). You have PTSD, just as Amber's therapist described to us before Amber testified. ***Each incident the abuse gets worse. The longer you stay per his request the more likely you are to start engaging back in the fight, because you've exhausted diplomacy attempts and you come to believe that your ONLY way to SAFETY IS TO FIX YOUR ABUSER (this is called "Battered Woman's Syndrome"). Each time the apologies come with more specific promises ("I'll quit drugs," "I'll do marriage counseling," both of which Johnny promised Amber).. Then, when they break their promises, and you "lose it," they just grin because they know they have you.....(I mean they've gotten away with so much already, ....), ignore you, sleep around since you don't want him s exually anymore.....The STRONGER one is ALWAYS the one to start PHYSICAL abuse, as no petite person would choose to pick a physical fight with a guy STRONG ( like Johnny), that would be suicide. The "MOB" is commenting that they don't like this or that about her because her hair is like this or she wiped her nose but didn't blow it (which by the way Johnny did too), etc. Obviously those critics are MINDLESS HATE (maybe jealous of her looks? or just starry-eyed over Johnny?), but THIS CASE isn't about liking Amber or not: IT'S SIMPLY: WAS HER OP ED HONEST WHEN SHE SAID SHE'D EXPERIENCED ABUSE IN A MARRIAGE, AND OBVIOUSLY THE ANSWER IS "YES!"

Till this day i remember 95% of the abuse me and my kids went through and the sequence of it and that's 11yrs of memories and i had to relive all of that while on the stand.

I remember all about mine as well, there aren't gaps, there is no I don't remember this but I have this memory. I wish I could forget it, that would be wonderful, but that's not reality. And for her to mock what people have actually been through is so loathsome there isn't a word for it.

@ we have risen, you are missing the point, ah is trying so hard to pretend she emotional and crying but almost everyone except you that she is lying. On her first of testimony she has been emotional and crying for the most of it but she hasn’t use a single Kleenex. Only on the second day that she was wiping tears that are not there and even pose for a photo. And yes, Johnny Depp cried/reared up and he was authentic about it. He may laugh often but everyone can see that he’s not happy with what ah have put him and his family through.

Why does she constantly stare at the jury? I'm dying from second hand embarrassment!!

She totally got pissed off at Elaine for not putting up the bottle picture again! This is so rehearsed and pathetic that it should be illegal for her to do this

her acting is so bad I'm actually embarrassed for her

This is her role where she is going to make 100 million dollars...she is doing her best!

Kinda weird how she's taking pics of him are taken while he's in his vacation house when 99% of everyone fall asleep by being drunk or whatever in your own property. She keeps acting alot of her answers. She's taken alot of pictures of him but where's the pictures of her about what he supposed to of done to her?

I agree I been team Johnny this whole trial until she got on the stand. Im not team amber. I want to see proof of the abusive. I think they are both guilty of being toxic and abusive. I cant wait to see how it turns out.

I just keep watching her look at tge jury talking to the jury trying to look in their eyes, that's a tactic that's used for people trying to prove they are right. I have a buddy that has shown me for year some things and he keeps texting me and saying did you see that? Do you see her response lol

@@doriemckay6935 don't you think it's weird that everytime the police or security guards or anyone else that had been present right after everytime that he supposedly hot amber and every time they all stated that their was no evidence of domestic violence on her but almost all of it was proof on Johnny Depp? Isn't it weird that they call the police because Johnny is supposedly in a rage and hitting amber but when the police get there they refused to talk to the police about what happened? Do you think it was ambee that was always trying to deescalate the fight everytime she started it like trying to remove her self from the fight? No that was Johnny everytime she went rage and what did she do everytime he tries to get away from the argument like go lock his self in a place that she couldn't get to him to cause badly harm, this is not the action of an abuser, this is the actions of the victim trying to get away due to fear. I'll tell you one thing that I have never hit a woman in anger or laid my hands on a woman for any reason but if she was my partner and she raged aginst me like she did Johnny many many times I'd have her I'm a straight jacket in a mental ward. As a personal body guard i have seen on many occasions that the woman would try to beat their male spouse and they to make a bruise on their face and say he hit her and that I was lying for him because in this world 90% of the time the law will side with the female in a domestic violence case. Just to give a little context of my hisrty I was active duty military special forces for 10 years and I have had over 100 hours training on the signs of domestic abuse / violence and you can see when someone is the abuser and who is the victim. The victim will always try to remove their self from the situation when it gets heated no matter what the situation is. I could keep going but I'll stop it here.

I once witnessed my bestfriend (female) being punched hard by a man in the face and she didnt have a mark on her. I was and am still in disbelief that what I witnessed with my own eyes left no marks. I later testified in court to about it. It happened in the street with children around and the cops were on the scene fast.

Yeah, a guy can murder a woman with no marks. But Amber's face looked like a PUNCHING bag. Also the bruises on her arms were HUGE.... Also, Johnny BROKE FURNITURE WHILE BEATING HER UP, and that PROVES MASSIVE FORCE.

@@braveheartfemale1 Her face looked like a “punching bag”? 😂 No. Slightly flushed cheek and maybe a lack of sleep. As a REAL DV survivor I was shocked at the lack of “injuries”. I was on her side until I saw the pictures and listened to ALLLL the testimony refuting her claims. I also wasn’t aware she has a history of being violent with her partners. Disappointing.

It's really curious how everything he threw at her "missed, thankfully"... Also, what's up with those weird sentences like "I threw the bottle on this beautiful, white floor?" Why in the world would it be relevant in that context that the floor was white and beautiful...??? It seems like she's desperately overcompensating with tons of irrelevant details just to cover up for a lie.

Well, it is amazing that she threw 1 bottle at him and he nearly loses his finger. And he throws countless bottles at her and nothing lands. No injuries from shattered glass. Nothing. But those beautiful tiles though

I get it. She's trying to let Johnny know that even now she tries to HONOR him (incl. his good taste in floors) as much as possible. Amber ALWAYS DOWNPLAYED Johnny's abuse as long as possible; all of us battered women do that. We know that the second we go public EGOTISTICAL STARS like that will never forgive us for showing the public that they're not the IMAGE they sell

@@laelracqueljohnson3273 , that's because for the first 36 years of my life I was battered--first by my single alcoholic parent, then by a guy just like her -only worse, because he was a rock star with an EGO LIKE JOHNNY'S and GROUPIES who gave him EGO POWER which made him get worse every time he beat me; he, just like Johnny, would avoid every single talk we ever had to have, go out and get massively warped on cocaine, get his ego stroked by GROUPIES, then come home BEATING ME because after the lies he told the groupies and the ego boosting they gave him, he actually managed to let the groupies convince him that the fictional person he described to them deserved to be beaten. I, like Amber, KNEW that when he was leaving to get high, he'd come back to me SWINGING,so I understand why Amber got to the point of freaking when Johnny was leaving to avoid talking. I spent 18 years of my life MAINLY STUDYING Domestic Violence (Battered Women's Society, reading the books, watching the true story Lifetime movies about this), in order to get strong, be able to stand up to it in the future, then to help others who are battered. (Amber's planning to do the same, i.e. help others). It took me longer to get away than it took Amber, because I was homeless in an expensive area, working as a Waitress living in my car, with no family to fall back on. I got restraining orders (as did Amber) twice, but the guy would track me down and show up to my safe havens...Any guy I talked to he attacked/threatened (same way Johnny kept Amber from having any chance with anyone else, sort of).. I watched this whole trial, but I can tell you the SECOND I saw Johnny's letters apologizing for being the monster, admitting to their closest friends that Amber and he were PERFECT WHEN HE WAS SOBER, I KNEW that this relationship is the CLASSIC Wife Beater (with substance abuse). Those letters and false promises to get sober are what made her give him second chances (remember, the FIRST time Johnny hit her she IMMEDIATELY LEFT HIM, so did I the first time my guy hit me, Amber and I are both extremely intelligent women, many Battered Women are). His admission to their associates that HE was the 'MONSTER" is what she NEEDED to give him second chances. Those fault admission texts by Johnny are the most loving he'd ever be to her (next to the beginning of their relationship). It's what Amber must hold onto for the rest of her life in order to forgive him. .. Everything after those admissions by Johnny was Johnny making a choice that HIS FAKE IMAGE, to Groupies and to his kids and now jurors, matters MORE to him than does being a civil spouse or an honest person. Amber had NO CHOICE but to GIVE UP on Johnny's promises to get better. She still loves the man he promised to be but never will be.

And your descriptions of your "experiences" seem to mirror Amber's.....but no where near an actual DV survivor's experiences. Your cover is blown! The gig is up! Suck up your loss and move on!

What I hear a lot is: I don’t know how.... I don’t know....

I don’t know if anyone here has ever got a single piece of glass in their feet, but feet bleed like crazy!! I mean horror show bleed. There’d be foot prints of it all over the house if she had multiple cuts.
