She played her cards very wrong. She could stick to the "emotional abuse" thing , and that would require less lying, and be easier to convince jury with. But no, her so self important feeling got the better out of her. She went on and on and on, making stories up about physical and sexual violence while she's on the stand. It's like a swamp, and instead of being light on her feet, she keep digging herself deeeeeep

She absolutely loved looking at pictures of herself. I still think she told on herself in her nurse’s notes when she told Nurse Erin that Johnny was mad at her or blaming her for her nudes being leaked. AH was hardly known at all but somehow her iCloud got hacked along with Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Selena Gomez etc. I think she was so desperate for fame & attention & leaked her own intentionally. Then we have the Australia messages in 2015 on the walls “She loves naked photos of herself” Makes you wonder if Depp had discovered that she had something to do with her photos being released. True narcissist & she couldn’t even attempt hide it.

She's playing semantics. Perjury is taken incredibly seriously and if they wanted to accuse her of perjury they'd have to put her on trial for that too, like a mini trial in a trial and also they'd have to be able to prove she committed perjury. Her statements are usually that she doesn't remember things clearly, that words mean something different to her, or that in her opinion things are mis-characterized while perjury is lying with intent to harm or deceive. I'm not convinced she committed actual perjury but she is being sneaky and slimy as hell.

@@greentealatte5973 Everything you described is how someone commits perjury without actually committing perjury. "Plausible Deniability." Saying things like "I don't recall exactly..." etc is basically giving yourself the out of "Well I didn't intentionally lie! My memory was just fuzzy!" It's the same thing dirty politicians do whenever they're being grilled in front of a committee: make it seem like they're a forgetful dunce and there's nothing that can be done about it. Sure, literally everyone watching knows exactly what you're doing - blatantly lying - but from a legal standpoint they can't say you're actively committing perjury since they can't prove that you didn't just misremember.

She reminds me of a scene in a movie called The Devil's Advocate. Keanu Reeves is a lawyer who is hired to work in a big New York firm (run by you know who) and one of his first cases is a rich guy charged with murdering his wife. Reeves basically says in his opening statement, "I don't like this guy. You don't like this guy. I'm going to tell you things that are going to make you like my client even less. But is not liking him enough to convict him of this crime?" It's the same idea here. In the movie, they tried to establish that he was somewhere else during the murders (engaging in infidelity, actually) to prove he didn't do it. Her reputation at this point is screwed, so her side is going to go all in to keep her from losing the case, as long as she can go back to Hollywood and keep making millions, even if it means destroying her reputation even further. The job of the lawyers is to prevent a $50 million judgment against their client. I think they know she's not getting out of this looking like a complete victim.

My ex husband’s love was stronger than any restraining order, and I want to express how dangerous that is. He took his own life in June of 2021, but not before suggesting to me that I would be going with him. We were married for 17 years. That’s a really long time to go through abuse, but of course it never starts out that way. At first, they seem to good to be true, but that’s because they’re putting on an act. They hate themselves and know that their true self is unlovable and so they put on an act of how they think the perfect boyfriend or girlfriend should be like. This is the grooming part. Once they’re foot is well in the door, they think they own you and you owe them love and validation no matter how badly they behave. They respond by attacking who you are and trying to take away your self esteem through guilt trips and confusion, and then they try to take away your identity by attacking you when you engage in the things you like or being around the people you like. All your friends and family are trash or they’re conspiring in some way. You see Amber do this every time Johnny tries to go anywhere without her, and she also belittles his music sessions with his friends by saying they’re just boring old guys playing guitars and she prioritizes herself over something that Johnny had always been passionate about. People, this isn’t rare, and you need to be careful, no matter if you’re male or female. There are people who absolutely just will not let you go, but at the same time, they also won’t treat you with any decency and respect. It was made harder for me to leave because we had a son together, but as our son got older, he began experiencing some of the abuse too, even though I tried to always protect him from it. It really is a “My way or the highway” with some people, and you’re just desperately trying to find a way to get away from them and stay away from them. I have a feeling that at some point, Amber Heard is going to end up with a dead partner at some point or they’ll die in some fiery accident together. Everything with narcissist are extreme and highly dramatic. They completely disregard any pain that you suggest you’re in and then over-state the pain they’re in when it’s their actions that are driving both of your pain. They push you into a corner where you’re constantly feeling like you’re defending yourself, and they don’t feel the need to answer for anything that they do wrong. It’s always going to be your fault. I do suggest that people educate themselves on narcissistic personality types, grandiose and covert. Check out Dr. Romani, she helped me to open my eyes to the facts and taught me how to identify these people before I end up in a serious relationship with one of these people and go through it all again. If you give a shit at all about your mental well-being, you will at least learn what you can. Don’t allow yourself to become a victim. One small victory against a narcissist is a victory from us all. And for any lunatics reading this, Johnny did not exhibit any narcissistic traits in those recordings, most of which he didn’t know he was even being recorded. Narcissists don’t walk away. Not EVER! They cannot stand any form of rejection and it sets them off to no end. So he could not be a narcissist. And addict, yes, obviously, but not a narcissist. Anyone that has lived through real abuse will know the signs they see in Amber. She is a dime-a-dozen when it comes to narcissists.

How well you wrote that made me go wtf. I hit that on my first relationship and swore to never date again. It's hell. Even in the beginning I knew she was acting and morphing into what I liked. Then started lovebombing. Then devaluation. Never been treated that badly in my entire life and I grew up in an extremely neglectful and abusive home. I'd try to make amends being all vulnerable and heartfelt, she'd play along all the way and finally at the end do guilt trips and passive aggressive remarks. So abhorrent and unusual. When called out she'd gaslight, saying I misunderstood when I know what I'm seeing. Then she'd complain when I was disturbed by her guilt trips and passive aggressive remarks. Seriously deranged evil people. When violating my boundaries by pressuring and not getting what she wants she'd immediately resort to manipulation and anger and accusations. I noticed she almost cannot feel genuine sadness either, like me finally dumping her. It turns into a desire to take emotional revenge in their brains. Went on to smear campagn, just like AH and my ex. I even stood timid and shaken like JD does in some of these videos and didn't know why I was feeling like that. I'm really pissed now. These people man. Oh and how obsessive and co-dependent she seems in love letters while treating him like shit. Completely creepy and what I experienced too

She isn't getting flustered or defensive. Even when an inconsistency gets revealed her reaction comes across like that didn't just happen. I had to listen to a few things a couple of times because I thought one of her lies were revealed but her reaction to it was so matter of fact, I wasn't sure if she had actually lied or not. She reminds me of Jody Arias on the stand. Calm, direct an not easily flustered, no matter how hard that attorney tried, Jody's perfect exterior never faltered. The big difference is Amber is remaining respectful an less of an a**hole. Jody was straight up obvious she was f*cking with the attorney.

An empty basket missed me and hit an elderly gentleman in his temple, nearly hit my 16 year old coworker with another empty one, and the full one landed near my leg with items launching all in my general direction. She has evidence. But it all or mostly all was altered. There is a reason why Depp's team has a request for sanctions on Heard because she failed to provide proper discovery. All they asked was her data to be cloned, filtered through a neutral third party so that no personal or irrelevant information was handed to Depp's team, so that it could be forensically evaluated to ensure the metadata verified the pictures hadn't been altered. So I think her legal team got half their hands tied. Then when they are trying to put together a witness list, they realized that more testimony would support Depp than Heard. Her defense is her full testimony. The problem is, she is hoping for the sympathy vote instead of actually supporting her testimony.

46:35 The idea that other abuse victims are siding with Heard makes me so upset because the reason I believe Depp over her is that she spoke to him exactly the way my abuser spoke to me. She belittled him in ways that only someone really close to you can. Abusers pick on the things that hurt the most because in their “nice” moments, you feel comfortable telling them about those things. Only to have that thing dragged over the coals when they decide to hurt you again. And I know it makes no sense that somebody would willingly voice those insecurities to someone who routinely hurts them. But the reason people stay in abusive relationships is that it isn’t always hurtful. There are moments where they make you feel like you’re the best thing that ever happened to them, or that you could do anything you wanted because you’re just so incredible. And all those nice things makes it easier to believe that it’s your fault when they get mad. There’s also the gaslighting that Heard’s own evidence shows very often. She said on the stand that she never assaulted Depp. But in her own audio recording, she says “I was hitting you, I didn’t punch you.” Where on this planet does hitting someone not equal assault? In reality, watching videos of people mocking Heard has been cathartic for me. That’s probably why I’m writing such a long fucking comment about this. The things she did in her own clips mirror what I experienced from the ex-boyfriend who abused me. And it feels good to watch someone make fun of a person who perpetrated those same things I cried about for months.

It makes me sad that Amber's friends even joined in on ridiculing Johnny's finger, guitar playing is something special to a person (like most musicians I guess), I didn't even know Johnny played the guitar before now, but I can only imagine Johnny was running away all the time because of shit like this making them feel trapped. And it would appear in my finger motion while I try to grip into something or carry something or just open the stiff handle of the door. And all that while it had zero visible mark on the hurt joint. Now imagine actual physical assault from another human, who's bigger than you, repeatedly, in the face! Who she's kidding by saying "it didn't hurt" and "I covered with makeup"???! I have never been more annoyed before man, the fact that she keeps looking at the jury it turns me mad. Seriously this case is going to give ideas to a lot of people in the future if Amber Heard doesn't get some kind of punishment for this. Because then anyone can say "where is my fair trial, why did Amber Heard could do these things while I can't;".

I also have borderline personality disorder so its HARD for me to see her actions as ABNORMAL because I've been living with the same disease my whole life. But I never beat anyone up and I never sht on anyones bed. The one thing here that breaks my heart FOR her is her apology note to JD. I've written that same note so many times to people in my life. Its a very hard thing to live with. People hate you just for being who you are. Sui.cide rates are very high among us. That being said I think she is still a piece of sht who deserves everything she got.

Good point. I hope most people realize that her actions in falsely accusing JD of IPV to destroy his career came from rage that he was going to divorce her. Her diagnosis may explain her feelings but should not be assumed to be the reason for being a liar and abuser. She’s responsible for her actions no matter what mental issues she has. Lots of people have personality disorders but don’t lie and scheme like she did. They were a toxic combination. But if she’d moved on and publicly wished him well while keeping their issues private she’d still have a career. I hope she gets therapy and learns to admit to her faults.

I am also a survivor of abuse and, after watching her BS testimony, I am furious with her for what she's doing to her partner. It doesn't make any difference that her partner is Johnny Depp. That's irrelevant. I'm just so angry that anyone would deliberately destroy another's life because she couldn't control her temper. Have you yet realized how long throughout their relationship that she's been recording him and accusing him of abuse? She's been setting him up for this for their entire marriage. The more I watch, the more I'm convinced that she went into that relationship with the intention that it should end in divorce, and that accusing him of abuse was the best way to walk away with as much of his money as she could get. She's a gold digger.

I totally agree. I also believe she decided on getting a child to use as an image to potray herself in the media with publicity photos. Here I am a loving human being who decided to bring a child into the world, to love cherish and nuture. The last thing as a domestic violence survivor. The trauma that resulted for years was overwhelmingly difficult as my pain and constant fear of my abuser and the destruction he caused my entire being made it a huge struggle being a mummy to my beautiful son. I did it. I made it my priority. But it was really hard. If she was abused as she alledges. The there is no way on earth you could have the mental and emotional capacity to do so soon.
