#NextofKin I have 2 ideas 1) If a soldier is unmarried then the benefits is given to parents If married then 1. The wife will receive a pension if she has children 2. In the absence of a children wife will receive a pension until she remarries. If she remarries then the pension will be given to the martyr's parents. Or In the absence of a child pension should be divided 50-50 between wife and parents My personal views

Why should pension be given to parents. Once son marries family has no right over son property or money. So much controlling parent. Even ready to give grandchild to smriti without taking permission from future wife of second child

@@bejoykthe way you said it, it sounded like you don’t even know Indian society. This is too complex to say why parents!! We Indians don’t plan for our future after retirement. We put all we can towards our kids so that they can have a future. Which means that our future depends on theirs. His stated that it’s not about money, but the fact that their kid is dead and his wife of six month have everything including his sanmaan that they gave. Every family has different dynamics. Much more easier solution is to incorporate questions that ask the soldier themselves who will be beneficiary in case of their death. It might sound bleak, but insurance companies do that, many retirement plans do that, so why can’t army do the same!!

@@JagroopM you have to understand the situation here. The father is retired jco who earn pension and both of them get full medical insurance life long. So they have no dependency financially. Again they have 2 other children. Also understand the mindset of father. He himself says on 20th july ie the very next he gave her three option . First i will give my second son to her for marriage if she wishes or his futures grandchild from second son to her.come on dont his second son and his future wife have no say in it. The very next day he told . Shows how controlling and intimidating father in law he is. Also says he will marry her off(very clever)she has her parents to marry her off why would she wants him to marry her off(he wants her to stay there till then and extract all money) Here its all about money. He wants the pension she gets.

All compensation including dsop fund gratuity insurance amount the husband as to to sign in presence of witness whom he wishes to give the money and here it is said it was 50-50 or 60-40 something. Which i see shouldn’t be a issue. They got 65lakh. What they are sad is there daughter in law is getting pension . They have no love for her . Its all drama. They are jealous she went off and is not under there control. Where did she run. She didn’t run off she went to her home with her father and mother. And she did right to run off. Its all in first interview they gave it was all about nok rules. Later it became kirthi chakra issue.

I have been reading in an article of Indian express, How they have invested in child care services and women support systems to make women’s life more viable to work. Suppose, If Women start getting two menstural Leaves/work from home, in every month, Working women will be able to spend more time with their children and family. Employers should see this practice with Macro view. This Practice will make their women workforce more loyal and efficient in their rest of the working days.

Arey ye sarthak ko khud dhang se samjhana nahi aaya pure verdict ko. Thoda apna hi jhaad diya. Use bas itna bolna tha ki koi bhi menstrual leaves ko compulsory krke work place pe gender equality nahi la sakta. Ek aisa leave jo mahilaon pr sirf isliye thopa Jaye kyunki unhe ek biological cycle se gujarna padta hai, wo khud me hi ek discriminatory leave hai. Baaki menstrual leaves mandatory hone se office policymakers ya policyholders par itna fark nahi padega. Policy banana hai toh Jo bhi prominent position wali ladies hongi unke days of availability k anusar policy meeting schedule, pre-schedule or post-schedule bhi toh Kiya Jaa sakta hai. Agar sirf policymakers or policyholders ko dekhkar menstrual leaves ko mandatory se choice me krne lage toh kaahe ka phir office inclusivity. Aur verdict jis tarike diya gaya hai uska maksad sirf gender equality ko badhana hi hoga naaki kisi policy meeting ko lekar.
