That's a really nice device, my Sony TV has 2HDMI ports...but currently I don't need more 😅 I didn't understood the point of giving power brick with it when it can pull power from HDMI itself. Instead of it, they should have give battery for the remote. Its nice that it supports 4K 👍🏻

The sound bar needs to be connected via arc or optical to either the projector or the ps5. If connected to the projector then audio from any hdmi input will pass through. If the sound bar is connected to the switch it won't get an input from any device and it won't work.

As per the said device, only switching between 1 2 and 3. What if TV had single hdmi port... and i have to connect a amazon fire stick and a 5.1 subwoofer with hdmi arc where i want both the output audio and video....combine result of both the input to a single output.

If your tv has arc it should have at least two HDMI input ports. There are audio extractors available.which can take on an output from a HDMI signal and provide an optical output or RCA output to connect to your external audio device. Something like this one amzn.to/3AlISNJ

Sir, I have a Sony Bravia 40" full HD TV. I want to use the HDMI-1/ARC port for sound output to my sound bar. I also want to use the HDMI-2 Port to connect the Amazon basics HDMI switch to connect tatasky & Amazon fire TV stick. But the Amazon fire TV stick didn't work with HDMI-2 through the switch. Please suggest, what to do to enable multiple display through HDMI-2 port.

The fire tv should work through the switch, did you connect the USB power to it. I have tested it and it works.

Yes. I have connected the USB power source to the fire stick. It works when I connect the switch to HDMI-1/ARC. The problem occurs when I connect the switch to HDMI-2. Actually, I want HD sound with the sound bar. So, I connect the HDMI-1 cable to the sound bar, because it has ARC capability.

I'm currently using my tv as a external monitor, but I used to switch between HDMI 1 and 2 to switch to my FireStick. I now have a Switch but I only have two HDMI ports. I would like to connect my switch and be able to switch between external monitor, firestick, and switch. Any suggestions for something that isn't more than $40?

The switcher would add three more ports in addition to the one you have on the tv. So effectively you'll have three hdmi ports. So hdmi 1 you can set as the fire tv and the switch + monitor on the hdmi switcher which allows controlling it using the small remote. There are tons of brands available under 40$.

I've found that the camera stops the output when we switch between the hdmi outputs, when you switch back to it, the camera takes a second to output again. Some cameras might allow continuous output.

There is also a cheaper one from amazon basics at 899 rs, please review that also

Do you use the adapter provided by the fire tv when connecting to either the hdmi switch or tv? If you are, try without the adapter or try another port.

Does it supports from cpu to crt tv?

It will not directly work, but you will need a converter like this one to convert the digital signal to analog. Even then I cannot gurantee you will get an image. amzn.to/3oegxmC

Yes you can attach 3 cameras, but when it is switched make sure the camera doesn't come out of live mode.

One output from the device via hdmi goes to the TV. The device accepts three hdmi inputs which can be switched between via the button in front or via the remote.

You can have only one output at a time, so any three inputs but only one output. To extend a laptop screen try using a hdmi cable instead.

Each laptop can extend its own screen and woild work with this hdmi switch. The three outputs can be connected to one monitor and can be switched between using the switcher.

We don't need the external power for this model too. If an input is connected properly you will notice a red light above the port.

Try a laptop or other hdmi device and see if they work, at least any one port. I've reviewed a switcher and not a splitter in this video.

But why would you want to? It doesn't support ARC so you won't be able to reroute the audio back to the TV. But , if your soundbar has a HDMI out you can use this as multiple inputs and the soundbar can send the image back to the tv.

No I have not, but I have used KVM's when working in server rooms where multiple computers use same keyboard, monitor and mouse.

This is not available on Amazon anymore. It looked like a good option. The ones available now don't look promising

This is for hdmi only, not usb. If your tv has a usb drive port then it might work. Do you have a smart tv?

Is gone theatre using arc? That will still need to connect to the tv for sound. Plug in hdmi switcher to fire TV hdmi port, then move fire TV to the switcher. Now you have extra ports to add more devices.
