I have just bought this as I am fed up of paying for all custom fees from Gillio. I have a actual Gillio Black Matte Croc which is really stiff and heavy. This Smartfee is gorgeous lightweight and just moulds around my inserts. Plus the moterm rings will fit in it. I had the ostrich brown in this make and I sold it and it’s a big regret wished I had kept it.

Right?! I get the quality of Gillio is amazing but ugh I just can’t justify the price especially when I’m always switching covers! I wish I got one of those ostrich covers too! I hope they bring them back! Have you tried the new veg tan from Moterm??

@@MomYePlans No I have not be am very tempted have told hubby what colours I like am hoping I will have one in my Xmas box. But yeah I totally agree with you about the prices of the Gillio’s. I like to change covers and with Gillios I can not justify keeping them when buying more.
I’ve actually had this in my cart for a week or so… thanks for doing this video- I think I’ll give the pocket a try!

I am really into high end leather, Chic Sparrow, Van Der Spek, etc., However, I can't pass up a good deal, or colors, so I also have a several Moterm rings, and I just ordered the Smartfee in the pink pullup!

I totally agree! The VDS leather is amazingggg but I’m the same as you with a good deal right hahah! Ooo I saw the pink one on Allie’s (filoplanner) IG and it looks amazing! I hope you love it!

How is the planner holding up when compared to the Moterm

It’s great! I absolutely love it! No issues at all and love the ability to change the rings just like Moterm!
I feel like Moterm is a Gillio-dupe so any others like it are also Gillio dupes not Moterm dupes - since there’s always been lots of other brands besides Moterm making inexpensive leather covers.

Totally agree! I put Moterm dupe given that I think of it along the lines of Moterm quality so hoping the video can help those who are deciding or looking for planners at that price point ☺️

If you take a look at the Smartfee listing you’ll see the owner describing her/his journey with planners and starting Smartfee so I don’t believe it’s Chinese slave labour but I could be wrong
