There are better research tools for Etsy. Every platform has a different audience and the products and designs that sell best on that platform will be different.
Kindly I ask, when you sign up with Amazon Merch On Demand, are you only allowed to use your name and last name? can you use like Artist name or brand name? your insight will help me a lot. Thanks.

I don't remember exactly what was asked when applying as it has been many years for me but I do know they have my name for tax information and I think they have my brand name.
Hello , I got a mail from Amazon yesterday and they declined my request so should i apply again because I really need to look for other avenues for some income for my family and autistic son

Yes. Keep trying. I know some people had to apply many times to get accepted. I also started this for additional income and I also have an autistic son. This saved me as I do not make enough money from my main job to get by.

I tried at least 10 or more times to get into the Amazon Merch and kept getting denied. No real reason why. I just got tired of creating new email address to try and submit with. I just decided to do Etsy. Wish I could do both but Amazon just not in the cards. I wonder if an actual person is reviewing the application because I have been a seller on Amazon KDP for a couple of years now. Oh Well
