Hi GG! I've watched tons of your videos in prep for my amazon interviews! I found this particular video the most helpful due to my background. As an interior designer we seldom quantify our impact in quantitative metrics beyond cost and time savings, which led me to struggle in coming up with meaningful metrics for my specific contributions. GG! I can't thank you enough for helping me to get into Amazon as an SDE! As a military veteran with a liberal arts degree and a non-technical career background, I had a very hard time breaking into the industry. Fortunately, I received a call-back for an interview invitation from an Amazon recruiter after a continuous effort of networking on LinkedIn. The only problem is that I was only given a week to prepare for the loop! I knew I only had one shot for this life-changing career opportunity, so I kept looking for the best Amazon interview prep. I just came here to say thank you for everything. I got word from my recruiter today that I was not selected for this particular role because they went with another candidate. She did encourage me to apply for other positions in the Loss Prevention field and to let her know if I saw anything that sparked my interest. I would have not gotten as far as I did without you. I was able to do a 5-hour panel for an L6 role with your guidance. feeling discouraged about applying for another position. I was in the last hiring process for two months. However, another recruiter reached out as well asking for me to apply for an L3 Loss Prevention role. The pay is $50,000 less a year. I'm just so unsure now. However, thank you for everything.

I just had my interview yesterday and used all the tips from your videos I've got my 🤞🏼 I just wanted to ask, the interviewer only asked me 3 behavioural questions, just wanted to know your take on if this is a good or bad thing? I asked about the key challenges of the role and they stated a cool head and good attitude to which they followed with "and from the sounds of it you have a good attitude" which seems positive 😅 Thanks again!

Thanks GG. Due to the scheduling, I got the hiring manager last on the loop interview. By now, I have used all my big impact examples in answering all the many previous interview questions. I tried not to repeat stories, so the ones I gave were weaker that the ones earlier in the loop. I can't help but think the hiring manager is thinking geez that is all I got?

@GG - I just finished my round1 of Ph Interview with Hiring Mgr. At conclusion, she told me "you did good". I've received an email from Talent within 2 hrs for next step. I see that as a good sign. The role is my bread and butter - Sr Mgr Prog Mgmt (tactical role) What I struggled with , was remembering examples. I already had notes laid on the side table - which were life saver. My 28 examples (2/LP) are 1 pager each, laid out as STARI. So how do I pair it down to fit it in - where my notes are quickly readable by me. Your videos have helped me a LOT!! I kept stating metrics and my thought process all the way along each example. I do not want to be flipping through pages to find an example, that would seem silly to the interviewer, I think. Any suggestions?

Best to stick with work situations- otherwise your interviewers are left wondering "if he's able to demonstrate these LPs in his personal life, why can't he demonstrate them in professional life"
