I got one about two years ago , i would put a rope across the tarp to hold down in the winds , they do have a great product!!

Definitely! Rope across the top would help and we were very pleased with the quality.
Can you do an update and let people know how it held up to SPRING storms/wind, etc?

Its a good installation video but the greenhouse does not hold up well. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZHuirK2jZazOorw.html
YES, get those ratchet straps, three of them and it won't move also use sandbag to rest on flap because they conform to the earth for a better seal and to keep water out. Good luck
T-posts on the outside and rope over the top fastened to the base of the t-posts. I do like your greenhouse. Thank you for your review.
I am about to order one and now I know how to put it together. 😊
I cant believe how well mine is working. Its absolutely full of vegeatble and flower seedlings.

How well has it held up over the last year? With storms and what not?
I just watched your video on your greenhouse build and it was great. My wife and I have assembled 3 Outsunnys that were very similar to yours. Ya'll made it look simple!
the instructions suck is an understatement, but thanks to you and your video we should be good to go! thanks!
Thankyou for this video! I just had one sent to me and I was excited to try it out this fall/winter! I wasn't sure how much work was involved (doing this myself) so I found your video! Hoping it can get it up in a bit over an hour, hahaha!
I placed the garden beds in a way that they do what you did with the blocks. I like mine very much. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the vid, used your link to order one!
New subscriber, watching so I can help a neighbor assemble her greenhouse. Wish us luck.
Your video was a big help to me.

Great I'm glad! I am still tweaking the cover as to how I want to keep it held down. It's working somewhat the way I wanted and the block are definitely holding it from blowing away.
hi,I have the very same greenhouse, but in green… love it.Hint ,I put extra lining inside between poles and cover. 4ml plastic.keeps it warmer.
Thank you so much for this !!!!

It's nice
... good size...never can be too big ...near the house is better as you will likely visit the greenhouse more often when it is closer ... had my 10 X 20 going for 30 years now along the garage where the boat trailer should sit ... double polly high hooper like yours... happy growing ...

Those were my exact thoughts. Obviously in another video you will see that it was destroyed haha BUT I will definitely get another. I'd like to get pretty good at growing plants and sell them locally to cover costs. Thanks so much for watching!

i had seen two diff vids, one where they reinforced each end with a wood framed very simple door, and another where they used pool noodles on the overheads to keep screws from tearing or wearing fabric
@rockyhollowhomestead5827

Yeah I bet pool noodles would be a great idea, especially when the factory forgets to package a few parts to prevent tearing 😂
Thank you!
Also, set base poles on 2x4. On ground and clamped to 2x4s for some support the drilled anchors down in ground
Pretty awesome. I just ordered one of these

Im on the fence as to which one to buy. Your video was very helpful. Do you have any updates or things you would do differently? Thanks for your efforts. Wish yall the best in whats coming.
The caps do fit once you tighten the screws!
Did you do a video of how it held up by the end of the first season?
Love these greenhouses. You will still need to anchor that down some more - that will not hold it down. I learned from experience. 😁 Good luck!

Haha yeah we had trouble. Hard to anchor in the Rocky ground there. Will have to find another place next time.
I'd like to know how it is holding up to stormy weather.
Is this thing rigid enough to pick up and move from one place to another without disassembling? I wanna be able to grow plants in it then lift it up and move it when I'm done with it without disassembling or compacting the soil inside it.
How's it holding up? Do the frame pieces slide In together or only fasten with hardware?
It’s half done….a lot more support. Foam tape. Wood on bottom around sides.
Can you please do a update on this Hoop house???
Any chance you have a manual for this? I got one 2nd hand with no instructions
How is the plastic holding up.
Is lt still working good until now?
How do you heat your greenhouse
I ordered a hoophouse similar to thos except mine doesnt have the metal around the bottom perimeter- its wonderful, but every time it's a really windy day, it gets totally ripped up, & almost flies away. We've tried sandbags, a couple pieces of wood + sandbags, rocks in the sandbags, etc. & the wind still goes up in it somehow & almost blows away. One of the metal pieces broke the other day in a windstorm. Now my husband's wanting to bury it about 6 inches in the ground. I wanted to he able to quickly take it down each summer though, for other crops! Ugh!

Watch -‘’Gardening in Mississippi with Jim’’ Channel. Great ideas to improve it. You don’t have to raise yours as high as Jim did. He has many fantastic improvements.
Are there screens in the windows?
I wish I still had mine it was destroyed in the windows even for extras stakes and they came out … dang Texas winds

That stinks! We lost this one too. Hard to anchor in the ground due to so many rock. 🤷🏼♂️
I took mine WAY beyond this simple set up, I did not use the supplied cover, instead I bought green house plastic, bought the Channels and wiggle wire, bought a small blower which inflates between the two layers of plastic I put on, I even built stick framing and plywood ends, and it all sits on rail road ties that I set and leveled and anchored the green house to. Now I want to go even bigger.

@@rockyhollowhomestead5827 the greenhouse I put together is 10 X 20 just like yours, you could do it. I've been putting this together over the past couple years, this year has been the most serious what with finalizing it with the two layers of plastic and blower. I just infact minutes ago put a shade screen up on it, because it was getting to hot. Last week I put in electric vent fans to move air, I will get a thermostat in the coming weeks to help regulate temprature.

Is this a good greenhouse to use? here amazon greenhouses are pretty crap
do you think it's possible to make it 10' in length and not the full 20'
On the fence as to buy one of these. We live off grid in the Colorado Rockies and not sure if it would hold up to the elements out of the box or if I may have to beef the structure up. Any thoughts?
@rockyhollowhomestead5827
3 жыл бұрын
You had me at the Rockies, haha! It is a good structure and the cover seems fairly durable. My concern would be the weight of snow if it did happen to sit on the cover at the peak. If you are on a budget I would definitely go this route due to lumber prices. I have to tweak a few things to keep the cover from blowing some but it should he simple. Thanks so much for watching!

I need an instruction manual someone help me
this unit is very susceptible to wind. i bought 2 and they've both been destroyed (not just damaged) by wind. if you don't have a spot protected from the wind, don't buy this.
Can you post the instructions please please
Youre going to hate yourself for not putting down landscape cloth as floor first - but hey, if you dont get veggys - you'll have the best lookin grass / weeds in town - put your plants on rollers so you can roll em out to mow / wack
Not even close to enough cinderblocks.
This is not homesteading ... just some country folks buying stuff to help subsidize there growing family .

To keep bugs out of your greenhouse means to keep bee's out and you need bee's.
OK sandbags on the bars bottom bars flip the lip outside of the tent not inside cut off all Velcro straps just the part with the Velcro teeth because they will rip your screens when they touch them and they will touch
filthy thing - the rain came and broke the roof - not a strong greenhouse - shit
