Yes, Rodney is quite fond of his Amazon Echos now we leave them on for him while we are out of the house.

Can apps be used if not connected to wifi? Can it even be set up without wifi? My mom got this for my kids but we have no wifi.

So in order to make the tablet "yours", you have to be connected to WiFi and tie it in / to your / an Amazon account? Thank you 🤓 I got a hold of a somewhat older Fire 7, (dumpster find), did a factory reset/ data wipe, so previous owners info is deleted. Thank you 🤓

Hi Lorraine, thanks for watching and your questions! No, you don't have to have the Prime subscription. Unfortunately, the tablet doesn't come with Google Play Store, you have to use the Amazon Store, which does have some games and applications, but you'll usually be able to find the most popular apps, and not everything on the Play Store will be available on this tablet. There are ways to install the Play Store on any device, if you look around, if that's something you want, but it requires some patience and technical know-how. Hope this helps!
