Lil by liI got 2 studios and the sub coming from denon apms and bose I gotta say it this thing is impressive

I purchased 2 Studios and the sub when they were first released in '19. Man I can't believe its been that long. The Studios have been a flawless performer and the sound is truly exceptional for their price point. Some have said they sound terrible but mine really produce excellent sound and I have zero complaints.

Nice review. I think a lot of people have jumped the gun on this being a studio gen 2 or 2022 model. Unfortunately the only difference between the versions being sold now and those earlier is the firmware/software (and of course it is now in white too) . All older echo studios are going to get the firmware upgrade by the end of the year to make them have this 'new spatial sound' effectively not making this a new speaker at all. I'm not sure why a lot of reviewers are claiming it to be new 🤷🏻‍♂️

Glacier white option was the only reason I bought 2 of them to use as my ht stereo pair. Black option was too hideous lol.

I thought the mini optical input was the same port as the aux

I feel Amazon needs to create a bigger set of devices because Alexa doesn't bring much money to the company but they have pretty good devices indeed

Agree they need to add center and surround sound support along with a larger and front direction subwoofer such as a 8" 150 watt that wouldn't overlap the studios 5.25" woofer such as the echo subs 6" does.

Where did you get the studio 2022 specs from? Everywhere says it's the same amount of speakers as the Gen 1? I have a studio 2022 and it has 5 speakers...

If you purchased it before October then it's the previous model.

As a pair ,they are better suited as tv/video speakers because of the dolby atmos support, this is where they beat a regular set of stereo speakers but for music I wouldn't use them .

Why not? Is the sound quality not good compared to other speakers for 250€? I bought it and I am not sure if I should keep it or not because it is expensive. I just want to hear clear music with a good (when possible amazing) sound. 🤔

The sound quality is excellent. They output spatial audio, which is a very enveloping. However, for music listening, I prefer the sound that's coming from the front only as in from regular stereo speakers.

Ot works great until you connect it to the firestick. With consistency drop signal with no fi .

This echo studio feels loud!

Eh. All hype, in my opinion. I bought one during the sale and returned it the same day-muffled sound vs. the 1st gen echo plus. Not worth the price in my opinion.

The echo studio would not pair with my echo show 15. I got soooo frustrated trying to pair them, would connect and immediately disconnect. Lost faith in the brand. Never buying again.

I ordered the studio in 2023 and it sounded insanely bad no matter what you did with the EQ it was just a muddy crapfest and not even worth half the price so I sent it back.
