Since Christmas is coming up I thought this Amazon Finds Art Compilation could be helpful. Some of these finds are very basic, like markers and coloring pencils but I also hope that you will find something you haven't seen before. Maybe this can help you find things to add to your Christmas wishlist, or help you find something to buy for your artist friends. Either way, thank you for watching and have a great day! xx

6:25 for anyone who uses the Arrtx gouache sets: There is a reason why they are two whites. They have DIFFERENT PURPOSES. One is less opaque and for mixing and the other one is thicker and for using it as a color by itself

I honestly think the candle 0:39 colored in the 'affordable' pencils looks extremely better than the expensive pencils.

The thing is that the expensive ones are so much smooter and blend with eachother so much better than the affordable ones, that create texture and you can see where one color ends and the other begins That's basically the difference between them, but depending on what you want to do in each painting, one set could come more in handy than the other, so no set is better than the other

@@radioactivepower600nanaspersec Yeah, the light from the flame looks way better blended in the expensive one. The same thing with the bottom of the candle. Stangely, the flame looks better blended in the cheaper one. That might just be because she was rushing though. Also, I like the backround of the cheaper one more because it actually looks like it has depth, whereas in the expensive one it's just black. That can be fixed with a bit of erasing though.

Expensive ones are lightfast for sure. We usually don't know about the cheap ones. If you sell your paintings, the paint used should be lightfast. Otherwise for practises and just for fun, cheap ones are the best.

@@threeexthreeisnine8204 Yes exactly. If you're commissioned and your completing an order for a client, you need to consider quality on all aspects for their piece, including it's life. It should reflect on yourself to show quality, not just in skill, but in quality of the medium long-term. But not every cheap pencil is bad in terms of life, it's all up to experimenting on what works and what doesn't

Hey I got that glass dip pen with the black and rainbow glitter inside for Christmas! I've wanted it for a while and the box and pen are beautiful, the color selection is a little odd, make sure to shake them all very well and shake them during use (the glitter settles quickly) and make sure to really clean the glass before going to a different color! Edit: and the ink dries pretty quickly if there isn't much of it, and alcohol markers can go over the black ink (that comes included) perfectly fine! No bleeding! Edit 2: I have those baby colored pencils too! I bought them at Book People in Austin in 2016!

I have 40€ watercolors and cheaper about 28€ watercolor, needless to say...I...I have not used the expensive one, not because it is bad, or anything but because I like the cheaper one more, I liked the colors more. 40€ had much more stronger colors, and from time to time i use it, but for me the cheaper one was better. They have lasted bout 6 years now, and i can safely assume they will last me another 6 years and more, white is the only color that i have had to buy new ones, and now light green is coming to it's end. 28€ can be a lot for one purchase, but if you really save your money or wish it as a gift or something, it will be very cheap on the long run. Imagine, one meal in a restaurant can be that. expensive. You don't need the most expensive things to be good, but BETTER QUALITY makes things easier, but that does not mean that expensive is the same as good quality.

Yes, your art can awesome with cheap or expensive, but still have to be careful cus cheap doesn't mean good. They're cheap for a reason, such as putting fillers in paint. Sometimes putting in a little bit more money can be a game-changer in the end. Just my 2 cents after making and watching a lot of art stuff on my own.

You don’t need any of those things to be a good artist! You need talent. I only have a Fabre Castle 24 watercolour pack,a set of random drawing marker, a Canson sketchbook, a drawing pencil, 4/5 painting brushes, a 12 pack of oil paint (drawing crayons) and a pack of colouring pencils. You might think that these things are expensive or a lot but these aren’t expensive! U can find them anywhere! If you’re still a beginner at drawing or painting, you might like these! I draw different types of art, and pencil art needs the least products, you will need ADEL drawing pencil,an eraser, any pencil that has an eraser(or any small eraser for small places in the drawing) and a drawing paper or a sketchbook! That’s what I use😁
