With the main bathroom lights on it’s not as effective

Bought one and it does the same just like urs, the colors keep jumping and there is no steady blue or red or any other colors. It's like a disco in the shower

What type of hose did you use? With the hose I have it pours out the bottom of it.

I've seen these advertised but I'm a little concerned that such a cheap construction with moving parts would wear out before too long. Is it still working after 5 months?

Naveen Kumar there is an internal battery sealed inside designed to last for a long time. It obviously has a battery.
