I was thinking the same thing. I came to the conclusion that it would be a good support in the middle of a long span. Think bed frame or a non-load bearing wall.

It's been a while since we had a really silly joint from you, so this one is disappointing. All that short grain is very fragile, and so this is a really weak joint. You would never use it for anything other than attracting KZread viewers.
