BEAUTIFUL.

@ 6:00 whey did he go for bishop with his knight? If the black king were to take the rook, he could have chk with knight to take black rook? Again, my strategy, knight good at the beginning but at the end when the game is too open, two bishop becomes very dangerous.

@@smaklilu90 There is an increment though. You get an extra 2-3 seconds per move. 5 seconds + increment is plenty of time to play all the way until checkmate. So the time is not as much of a factor as the lost position is. Karjakin was gonna lose this one no matter what and he realized it long before he resigned.

what a cheap trashy dishonorable play by karjakin. he should have resigned with dignity and not played for this junk play of bishop c3 toward the very end once magnus had trapped the knight after the rooks are exchanged. karjakin knows that he is outsmarted by magnus and he realizes that he is about to lose his knight and so instead of resigning with respect and honor he instead tries to go for the pawns. very low class play i must think. then after magnus picks up karjakin's knight, karjakin decides to resign. but there was nothing else he could do!! i really don't like it when professional players play this way so low and dirty in fact. the game was drawn if karjaking had not traded the rooks all he needed to do is to find a way to save his knight from the sides.
