My favorite way to enjoy arrowroot is in salted chips / crisps. Second favorite... boiled and then lightly browned on a pan, with lots browned onions & garlic. Last, is actually mashed with some butternut squash to balance it's sticky consistency... and then served with a curry fish fillet. The sweetness of the arrowroot mash is sooo yum with the curry. Lol. Now I'm making myself hungry at 9am. Love love your videos... keep at it Jael!🖤

Taro is our staple food in Samoa and also green bananas. We either roast or boil them and usually taken for lunch or supper. We like it with coconut cream (if boiled) and enjoy it with fish or whatever meat is availble. My family sometimes have it with fish stew and greens but i must say it goes better with ugali. Love your plants at your new house theyre coming up nicely

My only comment is that you need to give a slope, however slight, for water to drain. Just move some soil to where you want slope to start from. Alternatively, dump more soil on one side of the plot. Best of luck.

Jael bonjour. Lots of work going on, you are doing good. The taro roots and bananas are growing very well. Our clay property is on a hill, and the old owner build a driveway (3 meters wide) of asfalt from the garden door till the back side of the house. Also pathways through the yard with flat stones to walk on. Jael thanks for sharing and good luck.

You could also try the pan fried once, soo crunchy. (Just boil as usual, then take ur pan with little oil then slice the arrows and let them cook till golden Brown) yam. Be blessed ❤

I guess you needed to remove the lower leaves below the graft of the loquats so that you can get the apple tree. It happened to me too and just realized after I planted another one.

Yes we do. Infact we have upto 5 different varieties. The sweet one, the dwarf one very sweet, the red - low sugar one, and another one. We mostly savor them as smoothies or eaten with peanuts or peanut butter.
