El Horno Neptuno my go to place for tapas so glad you decided to try . I been saying to you that you should try , the reason they bring separately because it’s all cooked fresh to order , and a lot of people request as it’s cooked, that way food does not go cold , I always have 1 dish at a time , my local tapas restaurant , lovely owners , there are so many more dishes you need to try next time , deserts are good too , glad you enjoyed , x

Nobody can complain about that, Darren. I dont usually go for Tapas nibbles because its all very picky, but everything on THAT platter looked really appetising and filling. The warm, crispy Spanish omelette looked so good. Lovely location.

Hi Darren amazing food, as you say quality ingredients prepared by people who know what to do. What a refreshing change from other so called food channels doing videos on budget crap from supermarkets,they don't realise supermarkets sell fresh food which you can prepare at home but no wasting their money on cheap processed salty junk then moaning when its garbage and they paid £1.50 for it 😂lol. Great content as always choose something off the beaten track

The waiter wasn't kidding when you said is 4 enough i would struggle with 2 of those that was a mountain of potatoes.

Definitely enough there for 2 Darren my drink a bottle of red, and spend an hour or two people watching looked a good spot for that.

I lived in Mallorca for over 37 years and now live near Marbella those prices are not expensive they are large portions, you pay maybe 3.50 4.50 for a small tapa so quite normal prices 👍

Don't worry about getting stuff in the wrong order, wait while you get to Thailand. We've been served starters when half way though a main before.

Wow that looks so delicious. Were they expecting another 2-3 people to join you? Such big amounts.

Tapas looked great Darren. First time I tried tapas was a backstreet somewhere in Los Cristianos, wish I could remember what it was called so I could check if it was still there but going back more than 30 years now.

Once again, not Tapas, but I love Mojo sauce. Cant argue with the Spanish omelette (Tortilla). Looks banging. I need to get back to Lanzarote soon. Its my preferred Island.

Seen a couple of reviewers have the tapas here and it looks quite outstanding and really good value. Obviously you had 4 items for review purposes lol but this would easily feed 2 people. What a view as well. Need to try this next time I am in Tenerife.

OMG mate are you making me feel like getting my tush on a plane or train and out of the High Peak here. I’ve been thinking about filming in different places for my channel, even considered going up to Blackpool recently ……Until I saw a video on KZread of the town ……omg it looks like it’s literally closed down it’s sad, like most towns and cities in the U.K. I’ve not been there for years but Wowwww it sure looks a lot more appealing than most places in the U.K. …….hardly surprising it’s full of Brits! Interesting to get a good idea of prices. Hope you have a great time mate 👍

The choice of Tapas is perfect. So is the Gin. Please help remind me what your choices were. Were there too many carbos ordered? The Chicken Toast is TOPS TOPS for me. Would love to order seafood like Calamari and Sardines just protein. Avoid potatoes.

Watcher Darren, it's a strange thing Tapas. Never a meal I thought for the single person. Much more a party share'n'tear spread. Have to say your potatoes in this restaurant were magnificent, many times better than the ones you had last time. The Chicken croquettes, fine meal size balls 😂. Not sure what to call a plate of shredded lettuce & 1 halved tomato? Garnish or Salad 🤔The omelette looked superb, a proper, well made Spanish Omelette. Chicken Toast 🤔like an open sandwich or burger 🍔( breast/or boned thigh?) Overall, a meal to set you up for the afternoon of tourists things OR a Siesta AKA a good kip😔😌. Informal eating with fair views and not hard on the wallet 😎brilliant. See ya on the next one. Allan & family

I’m from Ireland and it’s bloody cold here. 🥶 Those tapas all looked delicious but where the heck do you put it? If it was me there with my 2 daughters I’d order the same as you did but between us all, along with ice cold sprite. 👍

Not sure I'd class that as Tapas, more like 4 main meals but looks great. Cooked to order and fresh produce.. Can't ask more than that 😊

It looked good. But €7.50+ for each dish is beyond most Spaniard’s budget.

Croquetas in Spain is made with bechamel sauce not potato, in this case, finely shredded chicken, but it may be with Iberian ham, normal ham or in some case, squid.

Hi Darren,looks a lovely place,tapas looks very different to what i had in Mardid,are there rwguonal variations,ex potatoes.

We went there in March and the croquettes were microwaved they were soft and cold inside it was all very rushed and came within 5 minutes of ordering, try Sebastian’s for the fresh tapas it’s definitely not microwaved

Some of the best tapas I've had has been where the locals eat and comes with a drink, that said your food did look good but pricey.

Looked good but its hard to eat tapas alone isnt it as you want to try 5 or 6 things together, get yourself some mojo sauces from mercadona before you come home they do 3 flavours and the potatoes and tortilla are so easy to make back home xxx

I have to imagine what the price is in Tenerife. I heard it was 7.50 a dish, but what was the price of the Sprite. What were the taxes. What was the service charge? I am not going to continue to view these videos and not know what the total bill is at the end. The potatoes are a rip off at 7.50. 80 percent of vegetables are imported into Tenerife. Are these potatoes really grown there? Start showing a picture of the bills.
