Pad Thai is absolutely delicious! I have learned to make it myself.

I'm Thai. But this is the first time I've seen the best Pad Thai's cooking style like this!! It's looking delicious. I must go to try it, Pad Thai Naroktak.

@@armuk Yes, definitely it is worth it. The prawns that he is using are very expensive. Considering it is less than US. $3, for that amount you can't even get a BigMc at a McDonald's (with no fries, of course). And if you want cheaper street food, I am sure you can find plenty other places. Street food in Thailand is very compettive, they can't just charge as will.

@@rappogi7749 Narok = hell , Taek (Tæk) = brok, broken . This is restaurant's name because a pan is broken during he is cooking then his friend give him this name for restaurant "Pad Thai Narok Taek".

This looks like the best Pad Thai I've ever seen... I have my own method for serving it to some of my customers, but I've had to change methodology for quickness, mass-serving etc. This is done perfectly. Looks incredible...

this is the best Pad Thai you can get- hands down I tried Pad Thai many times but nowhere I didn-'t get anything near as good as here. I tried several times during my last visit in Bangkok. The chef is so nice too!

as Thai I would give 2 thumps up for this Pad Thai. Will definitely try it once in bkk

He made it very smartly everything with less hassle. These are the real MasterChefs in my humble opinion thanks for sharing

The sauce he uses has a really rich color not like most poorly made pad thai sauces. A few things i bet he does for the sauce: -he probably uses pure tamarind in their dried block form and mixes with water to get a more concentrated tamarind liquid than the ones you buy in the plastic containers (as you can still see the pulp of the tamarind in the sauce) -he probably caramelizes the palm sugar before mixing in other ingredients with the sauce for a richer taste and color -always will be fish sauce in there -assuming sweet radish as well Any other insights to what he puts in there? Been trying to perfect a sauce to no avail wish i knew what he put in there exactly!

TRY THIS PAD THAI SAUCE ..... 3 garlic cloves 1 shallots or onion 1 puck palm sugar (shaved ) (The oyster sauce is sweet and I don't like sickening sweet pad thai but adjust to your taste). 6 tablespoons fish sauce 6 tablespoons oyster sauce 6 tsp tamarind paste (concentrate) I've tried the block, tastes the same 1/2 cup Danmuji - Chinese Pickled Radish (chopped) 1/2 cup water 1 tsp Rice vinegar Hot Chili oil to taste Use a blender to combine the garlic and shallots into a smooth mixture, also add 1/3 c of the water. Heat oil in a large non-stick wok pan or cooking pot over medium heat, add mixed garlic and shallots, and cook until golden. Add palm sugar and fish sauce. Continue stirring until the palm sugar is dissolved. Stir the remaining ingredients into the sauce until they are well combined. After bringing the sauce to a boil one last time, turn off the heat. Oh yeah ... try to make this the day before. It tastes better.
