What about Invincible Season 2

Just finished the whole season last night & though I've never played the Fallout games & I have no knowledge about the lore I still really loved this show. The cinematography practical sets and visual effects, the dystopian atmosphere, moral themes and the twists really hooked me in. I NEED A SEASON 2

100% totally agree with you. I've played Fo3, Fo:New Vegas and Fo4, watched and absolutely enjoyed that whole season but there were few obvious mistakes that Fallout fans already pointed them out but it doesn't really matter when the director (Jonathan Nolan) perfectly nailed it. :D

@@santividal9387Bethesda bought fallout from interplay whose games created the world on the west coast. Bethesda’s contribution to what was in this show was lore changes, the cultish portrayal of the brotherhood, and the gulper.

Love how grainy and dirty this show looks, they also really leaned into a pretty dramatic anamorphic look with a lot of distortion. It really fits the feel of the show.

I was afraid this was gonna be one of those shows / movies that look way too clean when it comes to the picture quality, making it look fake. But it was grainy, dirty and perfect.

The budget is pretty much noticeable😍!!

To be able to bring as much fan service as they did while adding to the plot was just unprecedented. I hope the show wins some awards

Walton Goggins is so freaking good in this show. Happy for him, he's been amazing for such a long time. "Justified" is another great show he is in that everyone who enjoyed Fallout should consider watching.

There's plenty of great things to say for just the shot at 1:57 alone. The way the explosions happen at the center of the shot as it pans, the scale of the nukes to Howard and L.A, the details in the background being their own skyline with more 50's future skyscrapers, the trees being blown miles away, the buildings flaking and collapsing, seeing the glimmer of glass blown off the skyscrapers, and the showcase of the Griffith Observatory for later.

such a fun series, this movie literally made me stay up all night and not get enough sleep for work the next day. Just outstanding.

When Jonathan Nolan hits he HITSSSSS. This show was sick. I hope season 2 is better than season 2 of westworld

Video game adaptations are taking hold, and with Fallout based on a successful video game to an AmazonPrime series, it is no exception. I didn't expect how they were going to do it, but with good reviews, I saw it and, boy, did I like it :D Hey Amazing shots, speaking of series, I recommend Ripley, Masters of air and Shōgun

This show looks really good on film. It doesn't look too clinical and perfect like a lot of the stuff you see these days, but still looks high quality. The focus breathing is very distracting, though.

Yes one of the best video game adaptations there’s been. It’s a great show with high production, cool characters and an interesting plot. If you like fallout games then you’d like it, if you’ve never played them you’ll still likely enjoy it.

@@oneecha personally, i wouldn't suggest it, yes they took some bad decisions with the characters and some other things didn't make any sense but it's just my opinion

There was a time when I would have been excited about this, but since I absolutely hated what Bethesda has done to the series from Fallout 3 onwards, I'm torn and just can't force myself to care about this franchise anymore. It's a shell of what it originally was. The show strikes me as a clear adaptation of the Bethesda first person reboot, even things like armor or interior design are ripped straight out from F3&4 - it misses the much more somber tone, art direction and themes of the original two Interplay-published games, especially the very first one, which didn't have as much comedy, easter eggs and social commentary, that came in full force in Fallout 2 and even the team behind it admitted they went overboard with it, to the detriment of atmosphere building. Fallout 3&4 were just a joke world-building wise and a misunderstanding of the strengths of the original vision behind the series. The show does some things right in terms of moral ambiguity and if you ignore the games it is based on, it is acceptable, but it inherits the very silly, wacky depiction of the world. Not my cup of tea.

I’d definitely recommend watching the video “Bethesda Never Understood Fallout” by Twenty Sided if you haven’t already. It goes into depth on how the company failed to capture the charm of the first two games. I myself was introduced to the series with F:NV which many tout as the spiritual successor to Interplay’s games. But Fo1/Fo2 are tied in second place for favorites. While I really enjoyed the show, I fully respect why you didn’t and I definitely feel for the people who might have grown up with Interplay’s work.
