오호...공원 산책로에 많이 깔린 게 코코넛 재활용 한거 였구나....손이 많이 가는 제품이군..

이거 한국에서 엄청 많이 쓰는건데. 동네산 산책로,등산로에 엄청 많이 깔려있음. 미끄럼방지, 무릎보호 쿠션효과....... 한국에서 잘쓰고 있어요. 고맙습니다~~~~ ㅎㅎ

Amazing!!!! I have lived and travelled in SE Asia for over 20 years. In so many places i use to see so many coconut husks just thrown in the ditches. In Korea and Singapore and Japan I use to walk on slanted wood park bridges in the rain covered with this sort if matting and every time though what a great idea. What is it made of!!!! Superb video. I believe these are used as mats for control against soilerosion. For example they put these on deserts, or on slopes to stabilise the soil.

Apparently they are also used to lay out hiking trails in S. Korea. Prevents erosion, keeps down dust, while not introducing any non-natural material into the soil/nature.

Ah that explains a lot, I thought they would be too rough to be used for anything around people so it makes perfect sense to keep soil down.

Jesus !! These are the incredibly huge spinning & weaving system with giant reed and shuttle. Surprisingly female workers handle such heavy materials ! Respect them.

great way to use coconut husk fibers. i always believe coconut trees and bamboos are the most useful plants because every parts of it can be used. especially with house construction and furniture. where do they specifically used this massive thick mat?

I have seen these mats at every box store. They're always that gold/orange color. They're rough and meant for outdoors to wipe your shoes off.

우리나라의 등산로에 많이 깔려있습니다. 우리나라는 야자나무가 자라지 않으니까 100% 저기서 수입해서 등산로에서 사용합니다.

The people of Africa must watch this, people producing something from coconut waste. In Africa they have all the natural resources one can think of but produce hardly anything. They rather sit on their butts and complain of others stealing their resources and forever blaming colonialism for their misery. I take my hat off for you people.
