Справедливости ради, накладки действительно когда-то делали из кожи. Видимо в дебильном английском это сохранилось. А понятие "тормозные башмаки" у нас и до сих пор встречается, хотя относится скорее к тормозным упорам, чем колодкам.

Nobody uses asbestos for brake shoes now, because it makes drum brakes susceptible to fading, when used excessively. Modern brake shoes don't suffer from fade, anymore. I've bought Indian made brake shoes,, in the UK, and the material is stated as organic. Modern brake shoe materials have enjoyed a parallel development alongside disc brakes. Brakes shoe materials now include ceramic, sintered & organic.

yes, they missed that part, only showing the nock with another caliper to see if it is glued and then if it actually fits in a break drum :))) the thing i do not understand is why not use tables and chairs...you sit better and you do not have to lift everything from the floor...but hey, next to the open melter and caliper cutting table...who cares.

Тут где то есть процесс изготовления автомобильных передних колодок, так там абразив формуют вручную по 4 шт, одновременно приваривая еоюго к колодкам, собранным по помойкам, отожженым и зачищенным

@@yeti_ninjz на таких производствах платят за выработку. сделал ты 10 предметов - получи 10 тугриков, сделал 20 - получи 20, иначе они бы 2 колодки делали бы 2 дня. так что там платят не за возраст а за продуктивность.

Good god ... no safety at all. Melting metal is incredibly dangerous, especially recycles metals with oil and grease all over them. They pop and send tiny bits of molten metal all over the place. Get them face protection! At least give them heat resistant gloves! Not even smelting gloves ... at least get them like fireplace gloves. This is wild! Different world over there!

в России полно трудолюбивых. Да только бюрократия режима Путинского не даст этому развиться! В курсе сколько надо ВЗЯТОК дать что б выделили необходимую мощность для плавильной электропечи??? А ещё прийдется пройти через жадных до бабла МЧСовчев-пожарников, экологов и других контролеров. А знаете насколько дорого стоит земля с категорией использования "промпроизводство" или судебный перевод в эту категорию???? (знакомый хотел построить заводик, да только за несколько лет судов так и не смог перевести землю из с/х в промназначение. А денег на взятку в несколько десятков ЛЯМОВ у него небыло...) Вот эти проблемы и не дают развиваться производствам разным инициативным трудолюбивым русским.....

Beautifully written, appreciate your concerns.

What I dont understand is at the various stages the parts are handled then thrown on the ground.Someone then comes with a crate to pick them up off the ground. Why not throw them staright in the plastic tub and not double handle them?

You are right. In don ´t want to point with the finger on these workers. But the labour is so cheap that this does not count at all. Respect for the work also.
