I really need to get myself some reverse thrust on the family car to handle those tricky wet road conditions. Also much respect for all of the pilots involved in those landings and the cameraman for filming in those horrible weather conditions

3:10 A380, that huge air craft really needs an equal stopping power. it's a wow.

I would think the water would be good for the tires on these heavies. Or any jet for that matter. As the tires usually are extremely hot upon touchdown. And the water in my opinion would only serve to cool them down faster.

The rain made me feel like making some pop-corn. I realized that the 747 uses four thrusters while the A360 uses two.

The Boeing 747-406(M) KLM PH-BFV from Mexico City (MEX) to Amsterdam (AMS) on flight KL686 Landed 2:44 PM on 07-12-2017 does the same sideway shake on the left wing landing gear around 5:51-52 min. in the film just before touch down.

And here I thought these big jets threw out an anchor to slow them down. Just kidding. BTW, the genius of Boeing engineers regarding the design and flexibility of those very thin wings is on display at the 6:35 mark with regard to the 787-9.

You don't mention that Delta plane at 10:00 in your description. I think it's a 767? and I'm wondering why the IcelandAir 767 has shark-wings, whereas the Delta 767 does not ?

Most of the time the thrust reverse is used by freighters and a380 emirates 99% of the time. and operators from China and Russia. KLM only 20% or less. thanks for watching.

Cristian The use of full thrust reverse, depends on the weight of the aircraft, the speed, the length of RWY, how contaminated the RWY is (rain, snow...). AMS airport has pretty much long RWY so sometimes if heavies are light on landing, if RWY is dry or not fully wet, they may not use reverse or full reverse

I just noticed for the first time, that the Airbus A380 has only one pair of thrust reversers (inboard)for four engines, or did the pilot only deploy two reversers by choice?

There are no reverse thrusts on the outer engines because to avoid foreign object digestion as both engines often hanging over some runways and due to its mass, A380 does not require 4 reverse thrusts. Also, this saves some weight on A380.
