HOW DID YOU PUT CAMERA IN THEIR NEST? mama bird just making new nest in my balcony

I'm in the middle of watching this happen on my front porch in Chiang Mai... I noticed something in this video that I've watched happen live a number of times... when the mom leaves the nest with something white in her mouth seemingly from one of the chicks. Any idea what that is? Some form of waste?
