Saw the movie yesterday and I couldn’t agree with Jon more. Absolute classic. Tom Cruise deserves the highest of accolades for this movie

Watched it 3 times. Man. What a movie! After 20 years I never had such a great movie experience.

Jon Hamm is a excellent actor and a wonderful personality. Love him. Great interview! Saw Top Gun back in '86. Looking forward to seeing Top Gun-Maverick 👍🏽

You can never have too much Hamm

Nostalgia only played a small part in the movie's success. It's a blockbuster because it has never-before-seen aerial action, a big emotional core and Tom Cruise in top form. It's freaking great!

Nostalgia got half the audience and Tom Cruise's fanbase got the other half - for the opening weekend. All the millions who came in the following weeks came because the films is *so fucking good*!!

I was in my early thirties- when I first saw Top Gun., and it is the only movie I have ever seen in my movie watching experience 3 times. Here it is 36 years later, and when I hear those opening bars of the Top Gun theme I still get chills. From all the reviews I have seen so far as well as the trailers all I can say is for people who have never experienced Top Gun get ready for a ride, you will never forget. To this day danger zone and Mighty Wings from the original soundtrack still running a shiver down my spine and make my heart beat like I just came back from a run, and all I was doing was sitting still

Time to re-watch Mad Men for the eighth time.

Jon Hamm was so utterly brilliant in MAD Men and deserves many more roles than he gets.

Love Jon Hamm. Was great in the movie. The movie is going to be an all time classic. It’s that good. Pure Entertainment. It regards to sequels or parts or whatever you want to call it. It’s up there with Godfather 1 and 2. Meaning some will say 2 is better than 1. .

He was great in the movie he’s character and performance grounds the movie and stops it from becoming unrealistic

His performance and contribution to the film will be underrated, much like the role of Viper was in the first. It sets the tone and the bounds within which shenanigans ensue.

Coming from an amateur cinephile who watches as many A24 movies in theaters as possible, this movie blew me away. So awesome, touching, heart pounding. A must see in theaters.

Jon Hamm did a great job in the movie" Beirut". His acting in this movie is good enough where you resent his character for plotting against Maverick. Good stuff.

Great movie and Jon played his role perfect. Couldn’t cast a better actor for it.

Top Gun Maverick is how you treat a beloved character while bringing in a new flare. Disney and Bad Robot need to take some notes.

John was excellent- you could just feel his disdain for Maverick. The movie rocks! Everything you see is real and it’s hard core

Watched Top Gun with my pops for the first time as a kid and I’ve been hooked ever since I watch the movie a few times a year tbh. And when the trail dropped I was like take all my money!

Crazy that Karate Kid with the Cobra Kai series and now Top Gun: Maverick as the sequel to Top Gun, both went decades in between continuing the story. Both have such a great mix of nostalgia for the fans of the original and excitement and storylines in their own right for the new generation of fans.

Great movie, my whole family and kids we all watched it together and they loved it. I want to watch it again.😊

I saw it for the second time sunday night, it was awesome!

I respect this guy Great actor and shows an enormous respect towards Tom

I'm glad they waited until the cinema was opened. I watched in 4DX, that was my first time with this tech, and it was AWESOME. I was clapping, cheering, wowing which in my country almost never happens in cinemas. That was The Movie Experience. Last time I had so much fun were to final Avengers movies and LOTR.

I agree with what he says,if go no other reason the film industry. You get to do what you like and get paid big.If you are in front or in back of the camera.Just imagine getting $300,000- millions for one movie. And the contacts and who you know gets you just one or two more. As long you don't do nothing stupid and buy property anywhere in the USA. You are in your way to a pretty good life.

IWC Top Gun

Saw it in 4DX 3 times in north San Diego. Its like STAR TOURS, SOARIN OVER CALIFORNIA, and Rise of the Resistance, for 2 hours. Screw disneyland. Go see TOP GUN

My condolences to Jon about the Blues. I know what disappointment feels like (I'm a Leafs fan), even though the blues have had far more success than I'm used to. The Blues are such a wagon!

Jon Hamm was underrated, I Hated Jon Hamm character in the movie and i think that is why it is good about it, he deliver the Character that've been set like that quite well
