The best pinchos/tapas you can get in Logrono La Rioja. Each bar has its own specialty pincho. Looking at this perhaps Casa Butler would give Calle Laurel a run for its money 😂.

The Spanish put olive oil on their bread . Its much healthier.

Hi there, good butter is very healthy it is just that top quality butter is either not used or ruined by how it is used. Spanish people know how to eat butter and also extra virgin olive oil. A little goes a long way.😊

Last time I went to my home from home in Beni, I brought back a 10k cabin bag full of food. You should at least have brought back Jamon Serrano and olives stuffed with boquerones, absolutely blinding!

Martin and Sharon, thank goodness you are not in Benidorm this week, it is flooded with a heavy rainstorm, The Levante beach has been washed away. Just seen a KZread, Anna in Benidorm who has filmed the storm, in the streets. The top of a hill is the best place to stay, as all the water has washed down to the lower levels, so your hotel was in the best place for a storm. Eileen xx

Fun fact tapa technically translates to ‘lid’ or ‘top’. Because bread used to be put on top of wine glasses to stop the wine from becoming too aerated the bread was used as a sort of lid. Then people would eat the bread after it was used so from there food with a drink became popular!
